As a sports project,swimming can not only improve the body function but also improve the psychological quality of primary and secondary schools in the development of an important period of physical development,learning to improve physical fitness is to promote healthy development,master survival skills to reduce the occurrence of drowning,and effective choice for rich sports life.This article contains eight parts,involved preface,literature review,research object and method,the necessity of setting up swimming course in primary and secondary schools,the analysis of the present situation of swimming course in Jinan primary and secondary schools,the obstacle to the swimming course of primary and secondary schools in Jinan,and the recommendations,conclusions and prospects.The main contents of this paper are to set up the swimming course of primary and secondary schools in Jinan City.The teachers,students and parents of 30 primary and secondary schools in Jinan City are surveyed by using literature,questionnaire,telephone interview and mathematical statistics and other methods to conduct relevant research and analysis for a comprehensive understanding of the status of primary and secondary school swimming courses in Jinan,including primary and secondary school students swimming learning,sports teacher swimming learning,teacher conditions,schools and nearby swimming pool facilities situation,the teaching of swimming courses in primary and secondary schools(teaching content,teaching methods,curriculum assessment),different groups’ willingness to set up swimming courses and other five modules.According to the analysis of the survey data,this paper summarizes the opening of the swimming course of primary and secondary schools in Jinan and the factors that restrict the swimming course in primary and secondary schools in Jinan City,and draws the following conclusions:1.72.1%of the 792 primary and secondary school students surveyed in Jinan had a strong interest in swimming,but only 25%of the total number of students can swim,and their swimming skills were mainly through enrollment in society swimming training,more than half of them did not master the basic swimming skills.2.The survey of 60 primary and secondary school sports teachers in Jinan City,21 teachers learned swimming and they accounted for 35%of the total,they mainly learn swim through the school professional courses and social training courses,and more than half of 21 teachers have no teaching swimming courses,only six teachers taught swimming courses,but the time is shorter,65%of the sports teacher did not have a professional swimming study.Second,most of the 60 teachers surveyed were not swimming professional sports teachers,most of the swimming teaching teachers are from college graduates and in-service physical education teachers,swimming professional teachers is relatively weak.3.Jinan has a large number of primary and secondary schools,they located in various districts,but the real possession of the school swimming pool in the primary and secondary schools are numbered,a serious lack of swimming venues.In addition,although there are more than 70 swimming pool in Jinan,they are mostly concentrated in the Lixia city,Shizhong city,Licheng city,the number of swimming pool is most large in Lixia city,and most small in Tianqiao city and Huaiyin city,but there is a certain gap of the school surrounding swimming facilities between the.geographical location and the school,resulting in the uneven distribution of the swimming pool;Then the school and the surrounding swimming pool teaching system is difficult to maintain,most of the swimming pool is run personally,compared to the training income,the government subsidies are difficult to attract swimming Museum.4.Primary and secondary swimming course in Jinan are mainly breaststroke,teaching content and teaching methods are weak,rarely involved in other teaching content and teaching methods,the course of assessment is more single to complete the 25m breaststroke technology,and then involving a small amount of attendance and classroom performance,making the teaching effect is not ideal.5.From the survey of the need for swimming courses in primary and secondary schoolsof different groups in Jinan,we found that the proportion of the school leaders who support swimming courses set up is up to 83.3%,parents think it is necessary to set up swimming courses and support children to learn,the proportion is more than 80%,students who agreed to open swimming courses accounted for 83.8%.This paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions to analyze the current situation of swimming curriculum in primary and secondary schools in Jinan City,1.Through the network media,etc.to strengthen the safety of swimming education knowledge,swimming rules and other basic functions of the general knowledge of publicity and education to improve students’ awareness of security and self-help,improve the survival skills.2.To improve the understanding of the necessity of swimming courses of the school leaders,teachers,students,parents and other groups of different primary and secondary schools to improve the importance of different groups,change their thoughts,get their support and cooperation both in thinking and action.3.To increase the construction efforts of primary and secondary swimming pool in Jinan,and make full use of swimming facilities.4.To improve the physical education teachers swimming teaching ability,teaching level,innovative teaching content and rich teaching methods,and cultivate the enthusiasm and initiative of students to learn swimming.5.Scientific and reasonable arrangements for swimming courses to improve the assessment system and finally improve the learning effect.
