With the progress of science and technology,human society has stepped into the era of big data.How to extract useful information from big data is a challenge faced by all walks of life.Statistical methods make it possible to obtain value from big data,so the demand for statistical talents is increasing.The field of "statistics and probability" in elementary school mathematics textbook,which is the initial carrier of statistical education and talent training,should accord with the characteristics of statistics and the progressive path of students' statistical learning.Based on the comparative analysis of "statistics and probability" of Chinese and Japanese elementary school mathematics textbooks from the perspective of statistical education,the research conclusion is expected to provide reference for the compilation of Chinese elementary school mathematics textbooks and provide some data support for the new round of reform of Chinese elementary school mathematics textbooks.Based on the analysis of the differences in the statistical contents of textbooks between China and Japan,this study mainly used the statistical education BMC analysis model,the breadth and depth of curriculum model and the comprehensive difficulty model of examples to compare and analyze the field of "statistics and probability" in textbooks between China and Japan from the perspectives of "teaching" and "learning" of statistics.The research results showed that:Chinese and Japanese textbooks differ in how students learn.In the textbook of qilin library,the explanation of statistical knowledge is more detailed.Present way in statistics discipline characteristics,differences between two versions textbooks,the proportion of real data,in the sample are using artificial data statistical calculation method,help students understand problem sets by real data to help the students feel the specific application environment,o 'clock textbook exercises the proportion of real data qi Lin pavilion tall 10% the left and right sides;Two versions of textbooks,the proportion of inductive reasoning,two versions of textbooks in the sample are better reflected the statistics discipline characteristic,involved in the exercises with the combination of the other mathematics knowledge,not as rich as sample statistics discipline characteristic,o 'clock textbook exercises the proportion of inductive reasoning qi Lin pavilion tall 25% the left and right sides;There is a difference in the proportion of open questions between the two versions of the textbook.The proportion of sample questions and exercise questions in the people's education version of the textbook is higher than that in the qilinguan textbook,but theproportion of open questions in the two versions of the textbook needs to be improved.In conclusion,the textbook of people's education is better than the textbook of qilin library in showing the characteristics of statistics.Chinese and Japanese textbooks differ in how teachers are taught.The people's education textbook focuses on letting students learn how to deal with the data and choose the appropriate distribution map to reflect the data,so as to deal with different purposes under different events.Qilin library textbook is to let students from the collection of data,through the process from simple to complex,pay attention to the use of words,Numbers,expressions,graphs,etc.to analyze the quantitative relationship in statistical charts.In the second section,the knowledge content of the two versions of the textbook is the same,but the depth of the textbook is less than that of the qilin library textbook.There was no difference between the two versions in the factors of background difficulty.In terms of the factors of inquiry,knowledge content and reasoning difficulty,the people's edition was slightly dominant,and the qilin library was slightly dominant in the factors of calculation difficulty.People's education edition textbooks emphasize more on the experience of statistical process,the formation of statistical thinking methods and concepts,and qilin library textbooks pay more attention to students' solid learning ability.
