Tourism is a comprehensive industry,and students of the secondary vocational Tourism Service and Management major will need to coordinate and cooperate with various tourism companies in the future.Therefore,the cultivation of student cooperation ability is one of the teaching goals.Group cooperative learning is one of the new learning methods advocated by the national basic education curriculum reform.Compared with traditional teaching methods,it is considered to better promote the development of students' learning and self-esteem,self-confidence,and cooperation ability.However,in the practical group cooperation teaching process in major of Tourism Management and Service in secondary vocational schools,the role of cultivating students' cooperative ability has not been fully reflected.In this context,this study attempts to explore the issues that affect the development of students' cooperative ability in the group learning of this major in secondary vocational education,and proposes strategies for cultivating students' cooperative ability in group cooperative learning in an attempt to make it a teaching reference for teachers.This research adopts research methods such as literature research method,action research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,etc.,to investigate the cooperative ability of students in the major of Tourism Management and Service in secondary vocational schools,the status of the use of group cooperative learning,and the effect of strategies for improving cooperation ability.This research is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly elaborates the research background and research significance,and defines the core concepts.It sorts out domestic and foreign studies on group cooperative learning and student cooperation ability.Chapter 2 proposes the strategies to improve student cooperation ability in group cooperative learning and an instructional design combined with part of the teaching content of the “on-site tour guide” course and based on the proposed cooperation ability cultivating strategy,to which two rounds of teaching practice are attached.Chapter 3 mainly test whether the cooperation ability cultivating strategy helps to improve students' cooperation ability through the analysis of questionnaire data,interview data,and classroom formative evaluation data.The data results show that it does improve the cooperative ability of secondary vocational school students.while chapter 4 is the conclusions of the research,which extracts the factors that affect the development of cooperative ability in group cooperative learning and proposes the teaching model and corresponding strategies for cooperative ability cultivating of secondary vocational school students in cooperative learning based on the above results.Finally,the reflection on this research is made and the outlook for follow-up research is conveyed in chapter 5.
