At present,a new round of curriculum reform has been launched in nationwide.The new curriculum standards clearly propose geographic core literacy,as one of geographic core literacy,geographic practical ability is highly valued.However,from the perspective of the cultivation situation of geographic practical ability,the effect of cultivating geography practical ability of high school students is not significant,and it still faces many problems.Then,it is particularly important to seek an effective way of cultivating geographic practical ability.High school students acquire knowledge and enhance their ability in research activities such as geographic observation,field investigations,and social surveys,and then achieve the effective cultivation of geographic practical ability.Therefore,research activities can be regarded as one of the effective ways to cultivate geographic practical ability.This article has theoretical and practical significance for the applied research on cultivating high school students' geographic practical ability in research activities.First of all,this article adopts the literature analysis method,based on reading and analyzing the existing literature,sums up the current research status at home and abroad,defines the concepts of research activities and geographic practical ability,and analyzes the theoretical basis of life education theory,multiple intelligence theory and constructivism theory.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is used to investigate the problems of cultivating high school students' geographic practical ability in research activities;based on the questions in the questionnaire survey,this article put forward training strategies Finally,this article designs detailed teaching cases for research activities and effectively uses training strategies.Through the above research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)research activities are one of the effective ways to cultivate the practical ability of geography.It is embodied in: In the process of participating in research,high school students connect the textbook knowledge with real life,internalize the knowledge into ability and wisdom,improve their practical ability to discover,analyze and solve problems,and then the geographic practical ability has been cultivated many times in the research activities.(2)Found in the questionnaire survey: At present,the effect of cultivating geographic practical ability of high school students in research activities is not fully exerted.The reason is that the teachers have insufficient design of the research activities curriculum;the traditional training methods of the high school students' geographic practical ability in the research;the quality of the research teachers are uneven;the research evaluation system is inadequate;the research guarantee system is not perfect.(3)In order to strengthen the application of research activities in the cultivation of high school students' geographic practical ability,this article proposes implementable strategies from five aspects: designing research courses of "disciplinary and regional characteristics",breaking through traditional teaching,strengthening the construction of teaching staff,improving the research quality evaluation system and designing scientific research programs.(4)According to the training strategy,the author conducts a field survey of the geology and landform of the Longmen Mountain area,and designs detailed teaching cases for research activities to improve the effect of cultivating geographic practical ability of high school students in the research.Through the research in this article,the author hopes to provide some theoretical and case references for the majority of first-line high school teachers to cultivate high school students' geographic practical ability in the research activities.At the same time,it also contributes to the research towards "Kangzhuang Avenue".
