As a kind of geographical ability,the ability of geographical image is an indispensable part of the key ability of geographical core literacy.However,in the process of teaching and reading related literature,the author finds that although both teachers and students are aware of the importance of cultivating the ability of geographical image,there is still a certain gap between the actual teaching and the ideal state-senior high school students' ability of geographical image is comparable.In order to be weak,in practical application,students can not effectively analyze and solve the problems related to geographical images,and it is also difficult to relate with learning and life.Therefore,in high school geography teaching,it is urgent to cultivate high school students' ability of geographical image,which is not only closely related to students' geographical knowledge learning,but also has an important impact and significance on the cultivation of their world outlook and outlook on life.Therefore,in this study,the author takes senior high school students as the research object,summarizes the concepts related to the ability of geographical image through literature research,classifies the ability of geographical image,and analyses the cultivation of senior high school students' ability of geographical image from two dimensions: the requirement of the general senior high school geography curriculum standard for senior high school students' ability of geographical image cultivation and the high school geography textbook published by People's Education Press.In the end,the paper puts forward the strategies to cultivate the ability of high school students' geographical image.Then,it makes practical research on the related geographical images by using content analysis and case analysis.It is hoped that this paper can provide practical teaching methods for geographic educators and simple and understandable learning suggestions for students.Based on the problems existing in the current high school students' ability of geographic image,combined with the relevant research results at home and abroad and the classification and characteristics of the ability of geographic image,this study puts forward the strategies to cultivate high school students' ability of geographic image: theability to read maps:The influence of teachers' own quality on students' ability to read maps;improving the status of Geographic Image in teaching;consolidating the basis of interpreting geographic images.Basic knowledge;introducing modern educational technology into the teaching process;simplifying the complexity and improving students' learning efficiency.Mapping Ability:Strengthening the guidance of students' learning methods;Guiding students to cooperate in learning;Building brain maps in the brain.Drawing Ability :Providing a variety of drawing training,narrating a variety of drawing methods;from easy to difficult,step by step;cultivating students' aesthetic sentiment.Using Map Ability:Be good at applying teaching resources and creating a good learning environment;Pay attention to the cultivation of students' ability to use geographical images;Connect with reality,cultivate students' core geographic literacy.
