With the publication of the new curriculum standard formulated by the Ministry of Education and the society's higher ability requirements for students,there is no doubt that the status of students in education has changed dramatically," teaching " and " learning " are also interpreted incisively and vividly.In name,students are no longer the group of passive acceptance of knowledge in class,but the actual teaching phenomenon has not achieved the effect of students becoming "masters" in the real sense.Therefore,how to make students "anti-guest-oriented" in the classroom has always been a question worth pondering.APOS theory is put forward by American mathematician Dubinsky and a guiding theory which can be used in teaching under constructivism.Based on the APOS theory,this paper designs the teaching design which combines this theory with the knowledge of quadratic function in junior high school,hoping to improve the teaching effect of quadratic function and promote the change of students' " status " in class.In the first stage,through the questionnaire survey of 15 first-line mathematics teachers and 90 junior high school graduates,the author analyzes the present teaching situation of quadratic function in junior high school.The second stage,the author makes the feasibility analysis of the combination of quadratic function and APOS theory,and completes the concrete teaching design of the combination of APOS theory and quadratic function knowledge in junior high school.Then,the author puts the concrete teaching design practice on 51 students in the author's practice school.The third stage,after the teaching design carries on the practice,the author has carried on the test question examination and the questionnaire survey to the 51 students.By analyzing the test results,the author concludes :(1)APOS theory is helpful to improve students' comprehensive ability.(2)APOS theory helps students to experience the connection between mathematical knowledge and real life.(3)APOS theory can ensure students' correct rate of answering questions.The fourth stage,I visited the first-line teachers involved in the theory and practice of the evaluation of the combination of theory and practice.By sorting out the evaluation,the author finally draws some suggestions :(1)the combination of APOS theory has certain requirements for the level of students,so the first-line teachers should consider the overall level of class students before teaching.(2)The life material sought at the activity stage must be relevantenough to the knowledge,if not fully connected,the teacher can use the knowledge and experience already available to the students to introduce new knowledge.
