Function,as the foundation of higher mathematics,is the core content and a main thread in mathematics of senior high school,which is throughout the whole process of mathematics learning in the senior high school,and it plays an important role in the mathematics of senior high school.However,the concept of function is so abstract that students are not able to master it easily.To make students understand the essence of function concept and deepen the understanding of function structure,this thesis carries out the study on the teaching of function concept based on the APOS theory.APOS theory is a kind of theory based on constructivism theory and owns the characteristic of mathematics.This thesis mainly studies the function teaching of Grade One in senior high school under the guidance of APOS theory.First of all,the writer of this thesis analyzes the origin,meaning,model and characteristics of APOS theory on the basis of referring to a large number of relevant literatures and reviewing the research status of APOS theory at home and abroad,and expounds the function concept teaching.In addition,this thesis figures out the problems in the students' understanding of fuction concept and analyzes the reasons.Puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies under the guidance of APOS theory.Finally,the writer of this thesis draws up the teaching cases of function section for Chapter 1 of the first compulsory textbook in senior high school and carries out practice,and gathers the data,which is about the conditions of students' grasping the function knowledge and their interest of learning function,by using the test paper and questionnaires.At the same time,the SPSS17.0 statistical software is applied to analyze and summarize the results of the pre-test and post-test in details.The main research results in this thesis are listed below:(1)The existing problems,which appear in the process of learning function concept,are found out.(2)The function concept teaching based on APOS theory can improve the math scores.(3)Students' interest in learning function can be inspired and the quality of the classroom teaching can be improved by adopting the function concept teaching under the guidance of APOS theory.
