Teaching materials are the main basis for teaching.After-class exercises are an important part of the textbook.The reform of middle school chemistry curriculum is in full swing.Both teaching materials and after-class exercises are constantly changing.Good after-class exercises of textbook are undoubtedly the finishing touch of the textbook,which not only consolidates the basic knowledge,but also helps to cultivate the core literacy of the chemistry subject.Teachers can also get feedback from the problem.There is still room for improvement in the preparation and setting of post-school exercises for middle school chemistry textbooks.Especially after the new curriculum standards are promulgated,it is to be further studied how to better reflect the core literacy of chemistry subject after the textbook exercises.After several educational reforms in the UK,the overall development of British students has been determined.after-class exercises of British textbooks are also constantly improved.By comparing the Chinese and English high school after-class exercises of chemistry textbooks to find similarities and differences,combined with China's national condition to make use of,which has a certain reference to the preparation of after-class exercises in middle school chemistry textbooks in China.Based on the previous studies,this article takes the Chinese textbook?Chemistry 1?and ?Chemistry 2?and the British mainstream textbook ?Chemistry for You? as the research objects.Using literature research methods comparative methods,survey research methods and statistical analysis of date to Compare the content,quantity,type and difficulty of the exercises of the two textbooks.Through questionnaires and interviews,understanding the views of first-line teachers on the after-class exercises of the two countries.It is found that Chinese and British textbooks have their own characteristics after-class.The characteristics of the British textbook after-class are worthy of our reference.It is suggested that we should add situational exercises,increase experimental exploration exercises to the preparation of after-class exercises,and the presentation of the topics should be lively and interesting,and the number and difficulty of the exercise should be reasonably set.
