In recent years,the economic development of our country is rapid,the pattern of opening to the outside world is increasing,and the demand of high-quality technical and energy-type foreign trade talents is increasing.In the face of the changing new international situation and the new demand for foreign trade professionals,it is necessary to train a person who can handle foreign trade affairs in a complex international environment.It has become a problem that must be considered in professional setting and talent training program in all secondary vocational schools.The faster the process of globalization,the higher the demands on students' intercultural communication ability.They should not only possess skilled language skills,but also have the skills and abilities of cross-cultural communication.This is a major challenge for secondary vocational graduates.Therefore,secondary vocational education should not only pay attention to the cultivation and test of language basic competence,but also should take the cultivation and test of cross-cultural communication competence as a content that can not be ignored.This paper starts with the cultivation of cross-cultural communication competence of foreign trade major students in secondary vocational schools,based on the theory of man's all-round development and the theory of human capital.This paper discusses the relationship between the cultivation of cross-cultural communication competence and economic development.This paper analyzes the economic characteristics of Fujian Province,the course setup and teaching mode of foreign trade major in secondary vocational schools.And compared with the cross-cultural communication courses of foreign trade related majors in secondary vocational schools and universities at home and abroad,this paper finds some problems and causes of cross-cultural communication competence cultivation of foreign trade major in secondary vocational schools of Fujian Province.This paper summarizes some experiences and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures in order to promote the cultivation of cross-cultural communication competence of foreign trade major students in secondary vocational schools so as to promote economic development better.
