The design of Chinese Language teaching materials compiled by overseas government officials must comply with national conditions and national features.Among so many Asian countries,facing the reality of multi-nationalities,multi-languages and diversified culture,Singapore government is attaching great importance to the stipulation and implementation of language education policy,and till now the bilingual language education policy has been carried out for more than 40 years.The article has chosen Singapore's state-compiled textbook under the big special environment of its bilingual policy for study,and hope that from overseas Chinese Language teaching material's compiling point of view to see the influence from different culture and different national situation correspondingly in different country and region,and explore the social language features,economic development status,historical and cultural change and education policy contained in Singapore's Chinese Language teaching materials.This article has selected the teaching materials used between 1992 and 2018 and 4 sets of teaching materials currently being used in primary schools and compiled by Singapore Education Dept.Officials for study.Via the review of Singapore bilingual education reform path gone through,in combination of Singapore's Chinese Language curricular standard,the design of teaching material framework and the change of system,these 4 sets of teaching materials have been studied in comparison way from the point of view of text compilation concept.The thesis is mainly adopting induction method to compile the information,and then combining the comparison method for analysis.On one hand,from macro level this article has conducted conclusive analysis on the compiling concept adopted in Singapore's primary schools for more than 20 years and transmission of values to find the track,rule,key points and trend of change in its development;On the other hand,extend the thread of history,and try to provide new thought and explore a new way out for future's teaching material compilation and curricular reform.
