"Health first" is our guiding ideology of the new curriculum reform in the 21 st century first, always adhere to the requirements in the teaching practice the "health first" in the first place, the time and care about the students physical and mental health, stimulate students interest in sports, guide the student to master the necessary basic knowledge of sports and health, advocating the active participation of students in the classroom, ready to explore.Wushu education,as an important part of school physical education curriculum, should not only set up the goal of educational reform of "improving students' body and mind by wushu movements and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture" in the development of the new era,but also absorb and learn from foreign modern educational concepts to deeply study the educational significance of wushu movements. The reform of physical education curriculum in the world is showing a healthy trend, and more and more attention is paid to teaching students interdisciplinary knowledge related to health.America's "SPEM(Science,PE& Me,Science, physical education and self)curriculum" has been introduced to many countries with diversified curriculum models, teaching concepts, evaluation systems and teaching methods. At present, the research results of this course are relatively few in China. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to learn from and introduce the knowledge points of the "SPEM curriculum" concept health unit in the United States to carry out the unit and class hour teaching design of China's primary school martial arts curriculum, and to explore the teaching effect of "SPEM curriculum" connecting with the skills of primary school martial arts routines.Firstly, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the current situation of the "SPEM course" in the United States and the current wushu teaching in primary schools in China by using the method of literature. On this basis, the teaching design and teaching plan writing of the wushu routine course under the concept of "SPEM course" are carried out.Secondly, two classes of grade three in guanlan primary school, pudong new district,Shanghai, were selected as experimental subjects for a three-month teaching experiment using questionnaire survey method and teaching experiment method.Among them, the experimental class adopts the teaching design of wushu routine course under the concept of "SPEM course" for teaching, with 41students;the control class adopts the traditional school wushu teaching method for teaching, with 40 students.According to the research needs, physical health knowledge, sports situational interest, sports expected value, physical health level, physical activity level and martial arts skills were selected as the course experiment evaluation indexes, and the data of students' participation in two different teaching modes before and after the experiment were statistically analyzed, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)whether comparing with the control class or within the group before and after the experiment, the teaching design of "SPEM course" concept of wushu routine course can significantly improve the learning effect of physical education and health knowledge of students in the experimental class.(2)the teaching design of "SPEM course" concept of martial arts routine course plays a significant role in improving students' interest in sports situations in the four dimensions of attention, exploration, pleasure and novelty.Although the increase in the dimension of challenge is not obvious, there is no significant difference compared with the control class of the same group.(3)"SPEM course" concept the teaching design of wushu routine course has a significant increase in the internal value and interest value to the students' sports expectation value, and improves the students' choice motivation and adjusts the proportion of students' choice of task cost.(4)compared with the control class of thesame group, the same grade group and the national standard level of physical fitness, the class that adopts the concept of "SPEM course" in the teaching design of wushu routine course does not reduce the students' physical fitness level while paying attention to the innovation of teaching method and teaching mode.(5)the average physical activity level of students in the class that adopts the "SPEM course" concept of wushu routine course teaching design is slightly higher than that of the control class of the same group, but there is no significant difference between the two.(6)the average score and the excellence rate of the students in the class that adopts the "SPEM course" concept of wushu routine course teaching design in the wushu skill test are significantly higher than those in the control class of the same group. In view of the above conclusions, the following Suggestions are put forward :(1)attach importance to the teaching of health knowledge in physical education classes,so that the teaching of martial arts skills and the teaching of health knowledge in physical education can develop in harmony;(2)innovate the teaching design and method of the course, guide students to actively participate in it,pay attention to train students' ability of independent learning and inquiry learning, enable students to master scientific knowledge while they are happy to learn, and increase the interest of the class.(3)optimize the course teaching design, reasonably strengthen and improve students' classroom exercise intensity and amount of exercise, further improve students' physique, and promote students' all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique.(4)expand the teaching horizon and train of thought, connect the teaching of sports skills with the teaching of knowledge, and mobilize students' learning enthusiasm.
