“The Standard of Geography Curriculum in Ordinary High Schools(2017Edition)” was officially promulgated.As one of the core qualities,the concept of human-earth coordination appeared on the stage of geography education,and become the core values of the four core qualities of geography.In addition,a series of problems emerged in an endless stream,such as the rapid growth of population,serious pollution of environment,shortage of resources,and persecution of ecology.So we need to seek solutions to properly handle the relationship between human beings and geographical environment.Therefore,the Ministry of Education proposed that the geography courses in middle schools should equip students with the concept of human-earth coordination,which is in line with the current concept of sustainable development,and help students to establish a correct concept of man and nature.Cultivating high school students with coordination view getting more and more attention.Case teaching,as a problem-oriented method,relies on the real situation to help students analyze the real problems and put forward countermeasures,which has a great advantage in cultivating students' quality with view of human-earth coordination.This article takes case teaching as the focal point,and focuses on how to cultivate high school students' view of human-earth coordination through this teaching method.Through the literature research method,this article summarizes the concepts and research trends of the human-earth coordination view and case teaching.Through the questionnaires to students and teachers,the cognitive status of high school students' human-earth coordination view and teaching situation were investigated.The statistical analysis of student questionnaires found that the problems are as follows.Students' understanding of the concept of human-earth coordination is not clear and enough.Students have inconsistent words and deeds,lack of practical action.The dimension of "man's influence on earth" is not well grasped.Most of the students' cognitive level stays at level 2,the level of students' view of human-earth coordination is generally lower than the middle,and the proportion of less advanced students is large.Students report that the quality of case is not high,the problem is too difficult,and the group cooperation is not active.The teacher questionnaire found the following questions.Teachers 'awareness of the concept of human-land coordinationis not intergrated.They do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of the concept of human-land coordination.Teachers use case teaching as a method of teaching to cultivate students' view of human-land coordination not frequently,and the training effect is better.Not often organize students to reflect together.It is generally believed that exam-oriented education restricts the cultivation of students' view of human-earth coordination.The difficulties encountered in developing case teaching to cultivate students' view of human-earth coordination are mainly the difficulties in the improper selection of cases and the differences in students' abilities.In response to these problems,a case-study strategy is proposed to cultivate student' quality of human-earth coordination as follows.Students and teachers should enhance their understanding of human-land coordination,and update their teaching concepts.Teachers should teach students according to their aptitude,pay attention to student differences;and carry out extra-curricular practice activities to allow students to experience coordinated development.Create a good classroom atmosphere and guide students to participate.Make good preparations for the implementation of case teaching,improve the teaching infrastructure,and provide material basis for the development of case teaching.Select cases to improve the quality of cases,improve the implementation process of classroom cases,and pay attention to the presentation of cases,problem setting and case summary;Teachers should reflect and evaluate the teaching in time to improve the teaching effectiveness.Finally,this paper carries out cases design based on these teaching strategies and carries out practice on the content of "the Evolution of the ideological relationship between man and land" conducts after-class interviews with students and teachers,and concludes that case teaching plays an important and positive role in improving students' view of human-earth coordination,which is conducive to improving the classroom teaching effect.
