Teachers are the root of education.Professionalism is the root of teachers.Teachers' professional development refers to the process of teachers' continuous development and improvement of professional ideas,professional knowledge,professional ability,professional emotion and so on.Teachers' professional development is to adapt to the trend of educational reform and development.to improve the overall teacher quality and develop teacher professionalism is the demand of modern society for the cultivation of innovative talents.And the professional development level of primary school teachers directly affects the development of national quality in the future.Therefore,it is imperative to study the professional development of primary school teachers in depth.This paper is based on a questionnaire survey of teachers in 6 primary schools in Zhungeer Banner,and combined with individual interviews,it is found that there are many problems in the professional development of teachers in Zhungeer Banner Primary School,such as teachers' weaker motivation to improve,their weaker knowledge foundation and ability is not strong,and teachers' professional development activities are limited.These are the factors what affect the professional development level of primary school teachers.These causes of the problems can be divided into two aspects: external(national,social)and internal(individual)factors.From the external factors,the unrealistic social expectations,the failure to effectively implement the support policy,the low social status of primary school teachers in villages and towns,the shortcomings of the school system,and the improper leadership of principals hinder the professional development of teachers.From the analysis of teachers' internal factors,many primary school teachers' self-control ability is insufficient,self-evaluation is not in place and self-requirement is too low,and these factors indirectly affect the professional development of primary school teachers.Based on the analysis of causes,this paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures to promote the professional development of primary school teachers.At the promotion level of the external system,it is necessary to improve the social status of primary school teachers in villages and towns,help them with precision,ensure that relevant policies are put in place,give full play to the leading role of principals,improve the form of further education and the professional evaluation system of primary school teachers,to enhance teacher quality of primary schools.At the level of internal system support,teachers should become lifelong learners,be aware of their own teaching improvement,enhance teachers' ability to reflect on practice,position accurately,plan their career future rationally,strengthen teachers' professional guidance,and promote teachers' professional cooperation and exchange in order to enhance teachers' continuous professional development and self-growth.
