Traditional teaching influences by Western dualism,education values the cultivation of rational thinking,and ignore the role of the body in learning.In this "mental and physical separation" educational environment,education gradually into one state,"mechanized" in.Cognition theory as a second-generation cognitive science,creating a new field of research in cognitive psychology,while providing a new direction for teaching.Physics is a science subject based on experiment and inquiry.It should pay more attention to the process of practice.Applying cognitive theory to physics teaching can not only cultivate students' interest in the course,but also through their own body perception.Enhance their understanding of the content of the subject.In this paper,a comprehensive overview of the basic theory of embodied cognition,through the practice of teaching,to study the physics-based teaching strategies under the embodied cognition theory,and have achieved some results.That is,by reading literature,questionnaires and interviews,the teachers and students of a middle school in the investigation,the current situation of physical education,physical education and student learning found among the problems,then school students for the study,select four parallel classes,two classes for the experimental class two classes as the control class,respectively teaching mode of physical education courses and traditional teaching methods under the guidance of the theory of embodied cognition were teaching placement,after four classes The final grades are counted and analyzed.Through the one-semester teaching period,the experimental class and the control class have significant differences in the final exam scores,and the students in the experimental class show higher enthusiasm in the later physical learning process.In summary,based on physics teaching in embodied cognition theory can improve student achievement and interest in learning.However,the study still in the preliminary stage of exploration,physics-based teaching strategies in embodied cognition theory,to be further improved.
