With the rapid development of information technology, traditional home-to-school communication methods, such as home visits and parents' meetings, can no longer simply adapt to the fast-paced life.New media communication methods such as mobile phones,QQ,We-chat,school newsletter are more and more popular with parents and teachers.Because of their convenience and efficiency in dealing with educational problems, many teachers and parents prefer to use new media, but neglect the value of traditional home-school communication, which violates the law of education. In order to understand the current situation and future development of traditional home-school communication under the new media conditions,a series of studies were carried out in W School of Zhejiang Province.First,Survey of the status quo of school-home communication.Firstly, three managers,10 teachers,5 parents and 3 students of W school were interviewed at random, and their attitudes towards the new media and traditional home-school communication, implementation status and future views were preliminarily grasped. On the basis of these first-hand information,we compile and distribute questionnaires about "the current situation of communication mode between home and school in W school" by students(300),teachers(100)and parents(300).After processing,we draw the following conclusions:(1)Faced with the impact of new media, the traditional home-school communication mode between teachers and students is weakening constantly;(2)Lack of practical ability; There is still a long way to go before the whole family visit;(3)the purpose of home visit is not clear enough, the quality is not high enough and easy to be formalized;(4)the popularity of home visit is not high enough, the audience is not enough;(5)home visit seems to be a matter of class teacher alone, which is far from the number of home visits by other teachers and school leaders;(6)home visit is gradually diluted and new in home-school communication. The risk of substitution of media-school communication mode;(7)the system of home visits needs to be improved.(8)The failure of home visits to be carried out well is affected by certain factors. Therefore,it is more meaningful to study this topic.Second, the study of the causes of the problem of home-school communication.Based on the above problems, this paper explores three-dimensional reasons:(1)schools tend to place more emphasis on system than on implementation;(2)school Leaders' role in demonstrating face-to-face communication between home and school is not enough;(2)teachers' initiative in face-to-face visits is not strong, and they are easy to rely on new media home-to-school communication;(3)some parents lack comprehensive education concept, and shirk their responsibilities by using busy as a pretext rather than facing their children directly.Problems hinder the realization of home-to-school communication.Third, the countermeasures to improve the home-school communication mode.In view of the current situation and causes of universality, the following suggestions are put forward:(1)under the new media conditions,we should enhance the understanding of the "three parties responsible" to enhance the understanding of the role of traditional home-school communication;(2)under the new media conditions,we should improve the communication system of home-school education and strengthen the management of traditional home-school communication;(3)under the new media conditions,we should improve the traditional home-school communication mode and integrate all kinds of communication organically.Communication advantages, promote home-school-education communication effect. The above research and conclusions play an active role in the healthy growth of adolescents in the basic education stage, and in improving and playing the role of family-school comprehensive education.
