This paper studies the economic performance of college graduates in the labor market, mainly divided into two parts: the impact of Higher Educational Expansion on returns to higher education and job mobility of college graduates. When researching the influence of Higher Educational Expansion on returns to higher education, the article first introduces the background of Higher Educational Expansion, defines the concept of return to education, and analyses the theoretical mechanism of Higher Educational Expansion's effects on returns to higher education. It is believed that after Higher Educational Expansion, due to the change of the quality of higher education and the "compression effect" of the labor market, returns to higher education will change. After that, this paper makes a descriptive analysis and empirical analysis on the changes of the returns to higher education at all educational levels by using the data from Chinese Household Income Project in 2013.It finds that returns to higher education for junior college and undergraduate students have declined significantly after Higher Educational Expansion, but return to graduate education has an upward trend. In terms of gender differences, the average wage level of women is gradually close to that of men after Higher Educational Expansion, but this policy cannot completely eliminate gender differences in wage distribution. When studying the job mobility of college graduates, this paper firstly classifies the definition of job mobility in different researches, and discusses the influencing factors of job mobility. Then, based on the user data of the recruitment website, named Zhilian, this paper studies and analyses the job mobility of college graduates within three years after graduation.Descriptive analysis finds that the later the graduation time, the higher the job mobility of College graduates. At the same time, with the change of time, college graduates move from primary industry to secondary industry and tertiary industry.Empirical analysis shows that the job mobility of junior college graduates is significantly lower than that of undergraduates and graduates, and the probability of male to change the job is significantly higher than that of female. Finally, based on the former studies, the paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.Colleges should increase educational investment and improve the quality of higher education, and at the same time adjust the professional structure in time according to the needs of the labor market;college students should strive to improve their knowledge and human capital while in school;they should also continue to learn and accumulate professional skills after taking part in work;the government should improve and perfect the system of policy in the labor market to provide a healthy environment for college graduates.
