With the deepening of research and practice,we have more knowledge about the performance evaluation system of university teachers.We need to pay attention to whether the current teacher performance evaluation system has achieved the expected effect,or to what extent its value can be achieved.Universities establish performance evaluation system,teachers are the objects of evaluation.Scientific and reasonable evaluation system plays a positive and long-term role and influence on teachers,universities and social development.Effective teacher performance evaluation system is judged from the results of its implementation process and full function.The important factors that affect the effectiveness of the performance evaluation system include the external environment,policy orientation,university self-positioning,and whether the system itself is scientifically complete.Therefore,the research on the effectiveness of teacher performance evaluation system should be analyzed from two aspects: the implementation process and the function,so as to clarify the implementation of teacher performance evaluation system and have a clearer grasp of the future development trend,and promote the understanding of the internal laws to realize the effectiveness of teacher performance evaluation system,and then the actual situation of teacher performance evaluation system.This paper makes selects the south campus of Sun Yat-sen University as a case,obtains the implementation status,specific problems and progress of teacher performance evaluation system since the implementation of the questionnaire,and uses principal component analysis,cluster analysis and other techniques.Then,policy suggestions are put forward to realize the effective mechanism of the combination of problem response and long-term effect.
