Research And Design On Decision Support System Of Social Impact Assessment Of Major Single-sport Events Bidding

As an activity along with the development of human history,sport has a natural appeal to public.Studies by many scholars have shown that the success of sporting events will have positive impacts on the local economic,cultural,political and social aspects,so the major single-sport events bidding is increasingly attractive to local governments.But at the same time,the holding of such a major sport event will bring many uncertain negative effects on related parties.The holding of sport events,especially the holding of major single-sport events,means that the venue needs to invest a lot of manpower,material resources and financial resources.Due to the high investment requirements for major single-sport events and the uncertainties that may arise from the events,the pre-assessment of sport events can help the venue to select the more suitable events,improve the rationality of the operation and reduce the negative impacts of the events.Therefore,it is crucial to conduct a pre-assessment of the various aspects that may be involved in hosting a major sport event.Since the 20 th century,the Decision Support System has been widely used in different disciplines with the rapid advancement of networks and information technology.However,the decision support system has relatively few research and applications in the field of sport events bidding.The pre-assessment tasks of social impacts related to major single-sport events bidding are basically structured and semi-structured.The decision support system can effectively finish these tasks.Based on the interactive ability and decision assisting ability,applying the decision support system to the pre-assessment of social impacts of major single-sport events can improve the efficiency and accuracy of the evaluation work.This paper analyzed the domestic and foreign scholars' research on the social impacts of major sport events.Based on this research,social impacts assessment index system for major single-sport events has been determined.Then,this paper established a quantitative evaluation method for this index,which has been used for constructing of the quantitative decision model of the decision support system of this research.In the process of decision model constructing of this decision support system,the basic functions and corresponding requirements of this software model were determined.Subsequently,the detailed functional design of this software model was also carried out,and the detailed design of database and knowledge base of the software model of this decision support system were completed.In the process of system software model development,this paper used an open-minded approach to the social impacts assessment index system for sport events,which can facilitate improvement of this system and even development of this system in the future.
