With the continuous improvement of China's international status,exchanges between China and foreign countries are becoming more frequent,more and more people want to understand Chinese language and culture abroad,and the age of learners is gradually developing to a younger age.It is not uncommon for trilingual kindergartens to offer Chinese classes in Indonesia,many Chinese courses mainly based on language knowledge have formed a system,but there are still many problems related to cultural teaching.Since the teaching of culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has received attention in the 1980 s,the discussion and debate on how to better carry out cultural teaching has never stopped,but for the special group of second language learners in kindergartens,there are only a few specialized studies in teaching.How to carry out the teaching of Chinese culture to children's second language learners has also become an urgent problem in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article analyzes the research results of cultural teaching in Chinese as a foreign language at home and abroad,extracts and summarizes cultural activities that are intuitive and entertaining.Based on this,the author analyzes the current status of Chinese teaching in Pahoa Kindergarten,and the necessity of developing Chinese cultural activities.Taking the Chinese cultural activities in Pahoa kindergarten in Indonesia as the research object,the author describes in detail the organization and participation of the author during my time as a Chinese teacher in Pahoa kindergarten.Combined with the gains from the students' participation in the activities,I make an in-depth analysis and summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each Chinese cultural activity.On the framework of the above research,this article comprehensively uses research methods such as document analysis method,observation method,practice method and case analysis method,and integrating the psychological characteristics and cognitive laws of young children,the principles of Chinese as a foreign language,and the theory of cross-culturalcommunication.This theory and method are integrated into one,and actively explore effective strategies for children's second language learners in carrying out cultural activities.The research concludes that Chinese cultural activities play a very important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Because of their interesting characteristics,it is very easy to attract young learners;the way of doing and experiencing them in the activities can also help them understand abstract culture better;at the same time,they can gradually improve their speech skills in the process of participating in activities.Finally,the article puts forward some suggestions for the organization and development of Chinese cultural activities for second language learners of young children in teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the characteristics of children's age and cognition rules,hoping to provide some inspiration and reference for the development of Chinese cultural activities in Indonesian kindergartens.To promote the accelerated development of Chinese and Chinese culture in Indonesian kindergartens.
