Private colleges and universities are an important part of higher education in China,which play an irreplaceable role in the process of talent training.As the main force of personnel training in private colleges and universities,the level of their job satisfaction will directly affect the quality of personnel training,and then affect the development of the University,and ultimately affect the development of higher education in China.Therefore,the research on the current situation and influencing factors of teachers' job satisfaction in private colleges and universities has important practical significance.In this paper,four private university teachers in Hebei Province are taken as the research object.Based on the interviews with many teachers and the relevant theories and scales at home and abroad,we compiled the questionnaire of teachers' job satisfaction in private university,and finally collected 454 valid questionnaires.Spss20.0 was used to analyze the collected data.This paper analyzes the current situation of teachers' job satisfaction by using descriptive statistics,analyzes the influence of eight demographic variables on teachers' job satisfaction by using independent sample t-test or one-way ANOVA: gender,marital status,age,working years,education background,professional title,teaching subjects and monthly salary,and analyzes the correlation between the dimensions of teachers' job satisfaction and the overall job satisfaction by using Pearson correlation coefficient method.This paper establishes a model of influencing factors of teachers' overall job satisfaction by using multiple linear regression,and analyzes the main influencing factors of teachers' overall job satisfaction.Through the analysis,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The overall job satisfaction of teachers in private colleges and universities in Hebei Province is at a medium level,and the dimensions of satisfaction are from high to low in order of interpersonal relationship,respect and recognition,work itself,work environment,growth and development,leadership and management,salary and treatment.(2)There are significant differences in job satisfaction among marriagestatus,age,working years,education background,professional title and monthly salary of teachers in private colleges and universities in Hebei Province.But there are no significant differences in job satisfaction in terms of teachers' gender and teaching subjects.(3)There is a positive correlation between the overall job satisfaction and each dimension of satisfaction.(4)The main influencing factors of the overall job satisfaction of teachers in private colleges and universities in Hebei Province include salary and treatment,growth and development,working environment,leadership and management,respect and recognition,and the order of influence is salary and treatment,growth and development,working environment,leadership and management,respect and recognition.According to the results of empirical research,private colleges and universities in Hebei Province can improve the job satisfaction of teachers through the following strategies: optimizing the salary and treatment system,actively promoting the growth and development of teachers,actively creating a good working environment,focusing on improving the level of leadership and management,and focusing on the needs of teachers eager to be respected and recognized.
