Research On New College Entrance Examination Grading

As one of the most important examinations in China,the college entrance examination is an elective examination for qualified high school graduates or examinees with the same degree,which is of great significance to the development of our country.In September 2014,the state council issued the "implementation opinions on deepening the reform of the examination and enrollment system",marking a new round of reform of China's education examination system.However,in the early stage of college entrance examination reform,some problems need to be solved.This paper mainly focuses on one of the problems,that is,grade assignment problem.The synthesis of new college entrance examination scores is mainly composed of two parts: one part is the unified examination part,with the original score added to the total score,including Chinese,mathematics,English;The other part is the optional part,which is converted from the original rank to the corresponding rank,and then added to the total score.Subjects from physics,chemistry,biology,history,geography,politics 6 subjects or 7 subjects(including information technology)choose three subjects,that is,choose to take an examination of three subjects.When assigning points to selected subjects,the scoring system is proposed based on the normal distribution of examinees' abilities.When the examinees' abilities show a skewed distribution,the existing grading scoring system will be destroyed,resulting in the unfair phenomenon of assigning points.Aiming at the above problems,this paper proposes a new grading scheme,which is verified by simulation and empirical research.Experimental results show that the new grading assignment scheme proposed in this paper has good stability and applicability.Due to the strict confidentiality of the real college entrance examination data,the empirical research carried out in this paper could not be publicized.However,as college entrance examination reform is a hot topic at present,the theoretical significance demonstrated in this paper is of great reference value.
