With the development of the new era,in the field of education,Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development,the European Union and the United States,as the representatives,have established a wide-ranging and far-reaching core literacy framework.In China,the opening of the new curriculum reform conforms to the development trend of cultivating talents in the era,and also provides a platform for the cultivation of high school students' chemical core literacy.Modeling is a high-level process skill,and the development of this ability is a part of building core literacy.In this context,the thesis takes the cognitive theory as the basic theoretical guidance,and helps teachers develop students' modeling ability through unit teaching design as the essential goal of unit teaching design.The purpose of the study is to understand the concept and classification of models,the connotation of modeling ability,the concept and general model of modeling teaching,and to investigate the current situation of high school students' modeling ability for "synthetic ethyl acetate experiment" through literature,questionnaire and text analysis,so as to provide data analysis and effective ideas for unit teaching design,so as to guide modeling teaching practice and improve students' construction Model ability level,improve the core quality of students' chemistry,and promote the cognitive development of students.The research work mainly focuses on the following aspects:First,theoretical research.It is mainly to consult and sort out the relevant literature.Second,investigation and research.Taking senior high school students as the survey object,the questionnaire survey was carried out on the topic of "the ability of senior high school students to model the synthesis of ethyl acetate experiment".According to the analysis of questionnaire data,in the aspect of modeling ability,the average modeling ability of each dimension of senior high school students is different,and some dimensions show positive correlation;The ability of selection,establishment and application of students is relatively high,but the ability of efficiency,scheduling and reconstruction is relatively low.The average level of modeling ability of students in different stages is different,which shows that the modeling ability of "synthetic ethyl acetate experiment" is generally at the level of single factor or multiple factors;The average modeling ability of students is related to memory level and experience basis.Third,unit teaching design research.Based on the unit content of "organic compounds" in Chapter 7 of Volume 2 of the new textbook for human resourceseducation,the unit teaching design for developing students' modeling ability is carried out according to the overall design idea of modeling teaching process and the principle,general mode and precautions of unit teaching design.The results show that in order to design unit teaching better,we need to grasp the following four points:1.In terms of students' learning method,students can draw mind map to construct knowledge context.2.In terms of teachers' teaching methods,teachers should make good use of effective classroom questioning skills.3.In the aspect of teaching evaluation,students set up unit learning portfolio for reflection.4.In the aspect of teaching mode,teachers use micro class to guide and intervene.
