In 2001,the Ministry of education carried out the eighth reform in the field of basic education,which had a profound impact.The Ministry of education has formulated curriculum standards for all subjects in primary and secondary schools,replacing the original syllabus,which is a milestone in the history of curriculum reform.With the implementation of the new curriculum reform,schools at all levels gradually put the cultivation of students' ability of cooperation,innovation,scientific inquiry and independent learning in the first place,the most prominent is to cultivate students' innovative spirit and attach importance to experimental teaching.Similarly,the new curriculum reform also puts forward new requirements for biology,so biology should take the responsibility of improving students' bioscience literacy.In this paper,the research status of Chinese and foreign bioscience literacy education is sorted out,and the views of scholars and experts who have made great achievements in education research at home and abroad are compared.The theoretical basis and related important concepts of the research on Bioscience literacy education are expounded.According to the content of the new curriculum,junior high school biology textbook is selected to be close to the actual life of students in teaching activities Teaching materials provide enough space for communication and exploration in biology classroom activities,which is conducive to the improvement of students' and teachers' ability and quality.In order to grasp the real situation of junior middle school students in biology class more accurately,by using the method of random sampling survey,this paper makes an interview and questionnaire survey to the biology teachers and students in the first grade of a middle school in a city.According to the survey results and the author's practice,this paper discusses how to improve the students' biological science literacy in the current biological teaching process series of studies.Taking conditions of seed germination,history of cell structure discovery,experimental improvement of photosynthesis and respiration,cell division and cancer cells,and greenhouse effect as teaching cases,this paper expounds and summarizes the effective ways to cultivate and improve students' bioscience literacy,which are:(1)developing inquiry teaching;(2)increasing the content of science development history(3)improve the experimental design;(4)permeate STS concept;(5)carry out research-based learning.In the end,SPSS 19.0 software is used to test the students' scores.After statistical analysis,the teaching effect is evaluated,and the problems that should be paid attention to in this process are summarized.From the results of the questionnaire,we can see that there are some deficiencies in improving students' biological science literacy in a middle school in a city,and there is room for improving students' basic knowledge,scientific exploration ability and emotional attitude values.Therefore,the author adopts different teaching methods and teaching cases.In the classroom teaching of the experimental class,the author implements the improvement plan to improve the students' bioscience literacy.Through the comparison and analysis of the data,it is found that:(1)inquiry teaching is conducive to the cultivation of students' innovative spirit;(2)adding the content of the history of scientific development can form a good scientific attitude;(3)improving the experimental design It is helpful for students to master scientific thinking methods;(4)it is helpful for students to establish scientific consciousness by infiltrating STS;(5)it is helpful for students to develop research-based learning to improve their ability of analyzing and solving problems.This shows that the above five aspects of teaching activities can improve students' learning ability,scientific thinking,and effectively improve students' biological science literacy.This study is based on the cultivation and improvement of middle school students' bioscience literacy,the research results and theories at home and abroad,and the specific teaching practice,in order to provide a certain way for the cultivation and improvement of middle school students' bioscience literacy,and provide a reference for junior high school biology classroom teaching.
