The new and old edition of Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standards contains the education and training objectives of students' scientific methods.From "knowledge and skills","process and method" and "emotional attitude and values" to the core quality of physics discipline including physical concept,scientific thinking,scientific exploration,scientific attitude and responsibility,"scientific method" education has always been playing an important role to achieve the goal of physics curriculum.For this reason,taking the teaching contents of mechanics in junior high school as cases,the purpose of scientific method education research is to guide students to master the physical scientific methods from teaching contents,teaching mode and teaching method,to carry out deep construction,promote students' scientific understanding,and improve students' interest in learning scientific methods.The paper is divided into five chapters involved with theory and practice.At the theoretical level,firstly,the research status and background at home and abroad were combed by using the literature survey method,and the research significance and methods of the subject were expounded.Secondly,the "history of mechanics" and "methods of physical science" was summarized,so was the educational characteristics of the history of mechanics.The methods of physical science involved in the part of physical mechanics of Junior High School of Published by the people's education press were classified.According to the basic theories of psychology and pedagogy,the feasibility of teaching practice from the aspects of physics curriculum standard,the nature of mechanics history itself and mastering scientific methods was analyzed.Finally,on the basis of the curriculum standard,the history of mechanics involved in the second volume of the eighth grade textbook has been collected,the scientific methods defined,and then the theoretical basis for teaching practice provided in the paper.In the practice part,the questionnaire survey and interviews were used to investigate and analyze the same dimensions of students and front-line teachers.Based on the statistical data,the students' attention,mastery of scientific methods,the teachers' problems in scientific methods education and the students' interest in the contents of the history of physics was quantified to provide a factual basis for teaching practice.According to the questionnaire,teaching cases of scientific methods education combined with the history of mechanics were designed,which is mainly carried out in the form of classroom,including conventional teaching learning and special lectures.The experimental class and the control class were selected to carry out scientific method education and research in the experimental class combined with the history of mechanics.The practical results show that the education of scientific methods combined with the history of mechanics can enhance students' interest in scientific methods,advance students' scientific knowledge,help students to construct scientific methods in physics,and form teaching cases for reference in the research process.Finally,it discusses the lack of the paper and gives the prospect of further research.
