Compulsory Biology Education Course Criteria provides new curriculum ideas:improve students’ scientific literacy and inquiry learning. The application of scientificmethod education in applied biological history changes the monotonic traditional way oflecture teaching and reflects the student-oriented idea. The students can be motivated andhave a better understanding of biological science.This text through analyzing the present situation of scientific method education forapplied biological history by literature searching, this paper elaborates the necessity andfeasibility of developing scientific method education for junior high school students.This text through questionnaire survey and interviewing method, the currentdevelopment of scientific teaching method for applied biological history was investigated andthe result was not optimistic from the mathematical statistics data. There are certaindifficulties during the implementation process for the instructors. The reasons includeinadequate ability of source gathering, low attention degree, poor control of the class, and soforth. The paper proposed three strategies, and organized related scientific method frombiological history session of the compulsory education biology textbook.This text based on the survey and interviews, this paper explores the teaching processof scientific method education for junior high school students on applied biological history,including seven elements: set target to promote automatic learning; questions lead to interestdevelopment; encourage questioning, searching, and corporation; lay a solid foundation toextend application; detect and complete object; reflect after-class to gain better understanding;reflect after-class to improve teaching method. The author compiled a teaching sessionPhotosynthesis-absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen and applied it into practice.In the end, in order to further improve the scientific method education system onapplied biological history, a tentative plan proposed.
