"Question Formation Skills" Effectiveness Research On Cultivating Students' Questioning Ability

The new round of new curriculum reform calls for changing students' learning style and stimulating students' autonomy and inquiry in learning.Questions can lead to thinking and inquiry.Learning to ask questions is the first step to develop independent and inquiry learning.Therefore,cultivating students' ability to ask questions is of vital importance to change the way of learning.However,many studies have found that students do not have the opportunity to ask questions,will not ask questions,or even dare not ask questions,seriously affecting the formation and development of students' ability to ask questions.Therefore,the main purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of "problem formation skills" in training students' ability to ask questions.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the relevant research results,the evaluation index system of students' questioning ability is established.The latter includes five specific indicators: question articulation clarity,question type,question motivation orientation,question thinking capacity level,question cognitive stage level.Secondly,two parallel classes were randomly selected from the ninth grade of a middle school as experimental classes and control classes,taking "question formation skills" as experimental variables,taking Students' Questioning Ability as Effect Variable,a comparative experiment of 14 class hours for three weeks was carried out,the experimental results were evaluated and analyzed by using the aforementioned evaluation index system of questioning ability.The results are as follows: Compared with the control class,the experimental class has more questions,higher clarity of questions,more diverse types of questions,more reflective and critical questions,and higher level of cognitive stage of questions.Based on the above all,the conclusion of this study is that "Question Formation Skills" are effective in cultivating students' ability to ask questions.In addition,by reflecting on some changes in classroom teaching and combining with the actual situation of classroom teaching,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on the application process of "Question Formation Skills" : Fully believe in students,let them really become the main body of classroom learning;adjust the arrangement of class hours,provide sufficient time for the use of "Question Formation Skills" in the classroom;adjust the role of teachers,grasp the appropriate management of the classroom.
