| Statistics is one of the important contents of mathematics curriculum in the compulsory education stage,and data analysis is the core of statistics.In order to understand the level of junior high school students' data analysis ability and the data analysis ability of students with different grades and math scores,this study is based on the domestic and foreign research on data analysis ability and the analysis of middle school mathematics curriculum standards to clarify the connotation,structure,level and classification standards of junior high school students' data analysis ability.On this basis,a questionnaire on data analysis ability of junior high school students and its scoring standards were developed to investigate the data analysis ability of eighth-and ninth-grade students in two middle schools in an eastern city.According to the data analysis of the survey,the paper obtains the following research results: The overall data analysis ability of junior high school students is weak;Students have a fuzzy understanding of the randomness of events.Students' performance in each dimension of data analysis influences each other;The data analysis ability of eighth and ninth grade students is quite different.There is a positive correlation between students' math scores and their ability of data analysis.According to the research conclusions,the following strategies are proposed: create specific problem situations for students to experience the whole process of data analysis;Lead the students to explore the random phenomenon and realize the randomness of data;Adopt different teaching methods based on students' math scores and knowledge base;Strengthen training students' data analysis application ability in the practical life. |
