Application And Research On The Virginia Satir Family Therapy In Parental Conflicts

As the smallest measuring unit of our society,the stability and harmony of famliy promotes social harmony.Especially in China,the family culture is one of the features of chinese society.The function of family goes without speaking.In a family,parents are the first teachers to their children,their words and actions shaping the personality of their children.With development of mordernization,family culture experiences a shock,facing many challenges.In the parental conflicts,parents escape from responsibility and are unaware of their behaviours posing an affection and hurt to their children.In this case,the client Mrs Yang connet me by a friend facing family delimn,on one hand her daughter in adolescence worries her husband isolates from her because of busy work.Using interviewing method,I investgate Mrs Yang's family.Using case work to conclude the causes of problems,.this paper use iceberg theory,familg communication theory and self-esteem theory and other theory and techniques in family social work in the case of Mrs Yang's family.Our aim is to solve their family conflicts,build up a harmouies family atsmosphere and to sustain family nomal function.In theprocess of our intervene,we find that Satir model can be used to solve family relationship between parents and children.It has special prospect and function.In our case,usein gthe theory and techniques of Satir model can build up a harmonious atmoshere for Mrs Yang's family.Accoring to the scale analysis,the frequence of conflicts in Mrs Yang's family decreases.The client family are satiesfied with the intervrne.Originated from the west,family therapy has a short history in our country.The Virginia Satir Family is one of the most popular therapies The research reveals that The Virginia Satir Family is a effective way to solve family conflicts.
