Nel Noddings' moral education thought with learning caring as the core is well-known in the world.It has great influence on the educational theory and practice in many countries.Under the wave of globalization,multi culture impacts each other and social competition pressure is unprecedented,people don't care about each other,moral crisis has become a major obstacle to the healthy development of our society.The moral education in colleges and universities is short of care,so we need to learn from the ideas and models of moral education,so that moral education in colleges and universities can regain its vitality,raise caring awareness,cultivate friendly citizens,and help build a harmonious society.Basing on reading Noddings' own works and absorbing the research results of many scholars on Noddings' moral education ideas,the author uses text interpretation,comparative analysis methods,and the combination of theory and practice.Starting from the radix of his thought,this paper elaborates on the connotation of caring,caring relationship,caring moral education and so on.From the integration of globalization and multiculturalism,the development of the Western feminist movement,and the practical dilemma of American school education.This paper discusses the theoretical origin of Dewey's thought from four aspects: the theory of existentialism related education,the theory of humanistic psychology,Feminist Care Ethics and Dewey's moral education thought.Secondly,it specifically discusses the theoretical construction of Noddings' caring moral education thought.Analyzed the logical starting point of his thoughts—humanism and realistic basis—criticism of character education,focusing on the core content of his thoughts: the dual dimensions of natural care and ethical care;the core of moral education—learning care;The theme of care-six major objects;the principle of care-continuity.It introduces in detail the implementation methods of Noddings' care moral education: model demonstration,flexible dialogue,participation in practice and effective recognition.At last,the paper makes a practical evaluation of the thought of Noddings.Objectively analyzes the value and defects of Noddings' moral education thought,which takes learning to care as the key core: the value of his thought includes breaking the shackles of male "rationality" and caring for moral education from the perspective of feminism;emphasize the intersubjective relationship between the two sides of moral education and stress the equal subject status between teachers and students;focusing on the emotional utility of moral education,emphasizing happiness in moral education,etc.The limitations of their ideas are mainly reflected in the danger of caring ethics replacing justice ethics;emotional supremacy leads to one sidedness of moraleducation;female perspectives have triggered controversy over gender differences.Then it analyzes the current problems of moral education,including the lack of caring concept,the lack of caring ability,and the narrow scope of caring.At the end of the article,on the basis of weighing the pros and cons,from the perspective of caring for moral education,it proposes a feasible way: enhance the status of caring in moral education;build a curriculum system with caring as the core;play a role model role;guide the practice of caring society. |
