| With the business environment optimized constantly,the social economy is booming,Chinese women entrepreneurs’ quality constantly improve and the quantity increases unceasingly,more and more women entrepreneurs play an important role in the development of the state and society.The old social concept of men working outside the home and women working inside the home is gradually changing,more and more women are now on a social and economic equal footing with men.Women entrepreneurs have gradually become the research focus of scholars,who directly carry out separate research on women entrepreneurs,rather than limited to the comparison of gender differences between men and women,or in a male-dominated environment.Under the social background of China,social capital,as an important way of resource allocation,can help women entrepreneurs to obtain valuable resources and key information.Social capital is conducive to the enterprises’ development,as a kind of important hidden capital of women entrepreneurs.At present,researches on women entrepreneurs are mostly focused on the early stage of entrepreneurship,when the enterprise scale of women entrepreneurs is small,and the conclusions obtained may not be universally applicable to mature enterprises.This paper focuses on the women entrepreneurs of listed companies in 2015-2019 as the research object,in order to study the impact of women entrepreneurs’ social capital on firm performance,the social capital of women entrepreneurs is divided into four dimensions: government social capital,enterprise social capital,scientific research social capital and social reputation,analyze the influence of each dimension on enterprise performance.And based on the perspective of human capital,this paper takes the professional experience of women entrepreneurs as the moderating variable,in order to study the professional experience of women entrepreneurs this variable respectively for women entrepreneurs four dimensions of social capital and enterprise performance relationship between whether there is a positive influence.First of all,this paper summarizes and sorts out literature related to women entrepreneurs at home and abroad,then on the basis of social capital theory,human capital theory and resource dependence theory,this paper analyzes the relationship between women entrepreneurs’ social capital,professional experience and enterprise performance.Based on the above literature and theories,eight research hypotheses of this paper are proposed,then use regression analysis method to verify the hypothesis.The results show that :(1)the government social capital of women entrepreneurs has significantly positive effects on corporate performance;(2)the enterprise social capital of women entrepreneurs has a significant positive impact on corporate performance;(3)the scientific research social capital of women entrepreneurs has a significant positive impact on firm performance;(4)the social reputation of women entrepreneurs has a significant positive impact on corporate performance;(5)the professional experience of women entrepreneurs has no moderating effect on the relationship between government social capital and corporate performance,nor on the corporate social capital and corporate performance,but has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between scientific research social capital and corporate performance,and on the relationship between social reputation and corporate performance.This study enriches the relevant research on women entrepreneurs in China,has a certain research significance for women entrepreneurs to use their social capital to improve the performance of the enterprises they lead,and provides feasible suggestions for the personal development of women entrepreneurs. |
