In the new era,under the guidance of the banner of Fostering Virtue Through Education,teachers should take the main responsibility of educating students.At present,colleges and universities across the country are building an ideological and politicalstructure of Sanquan-education system,that is a synthesis of comprehensive education,education in the whole process,education with the full range,in order to promote the construction ofcurriculum ideological and political education.Higher vocational institute teachers are the backbone of education,and their moral quality has a very direct impact on the sustainable development of society,schools and students.Therefore,it has become an urgent problem for ideological and political education major to pay attention to the cultivation of higher vocational institute teachers' moral quality and explore ways to improve their moral quality.Based on the concept and function of curriculum ideological and political education and the theoretical basis of cultivating moral quality of college teachers from the perspective of ideological and political courses,this paper proposes that a teacher's moral quality include ideological and political quality,moral consciousness and moral ability.With the method of empirical research,a questionnaire is designed around the four dimensions of the basic situation of higher vocational institute teachers,the cognition of higher vocational teachers on curriculum ideological and political education,the quality of higher vocational teachers' moral education,and the cultivation of higher vocational teachers' ideological and political education.The results show that higher vocational institutes in Shanxi Province have done relatively well in moral education and the content is quite rich.However,the forms are relatively limited,the ideological and political construction of the curriculum is general,and humanistic care needs to be improved.Great differences can be found among teachers with different professional backgrounds,identitiesand ages.According to relevant analysis,the main influencing factors are teachers' individual differences,teachers' awareness of the curriculum of ideological and political education,the ideological and political education of teachers in higher vocational institutes,the ideological and political education environment and social environment in higher vocational institutes.Based on the above research conclusions,some suggestions to cultivate teachers' moral quality in higher vocational institutes are made from the four aspects: building a good social atmosphere,which is good for the healthy development of teachers;implememting multiple initiatives to cultivate the teachers' moral quality;trying various channels,which is good for the teachers' self-improvement on the moral quality;targetedly working on the higher vocational institute teachers' moral quality cultivation according to their individual differences.
