Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as its core has attached great importance to the construction of the teaching staff of ideological and political theory courses.On March18,2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping hosted a symposium for teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools,which put forward the "six essentials" standard for teachers of ideological and political courses in the new era,"The ideological and political theory course is the key course to carry out the basic task of moral education,and the key to the ideological and political theory course lies in the teachers." With the development goal of education modernization and the new standard of ideological and political course in senior high school,the teachers of ideological and political course in senior high school are faced with various challenges of how to improve their own quality and how to do well in education and teaching work in the new era,at the same time there are some high school ideological and political course teachers because they do not have a clear quality of their own and cannot be combined with the new requirements of the classroom teaching situation.It can be seen that the requirements for the quality of ideological and political teachers in high schools are increasing in the new era.How to improve the quality of ideological and political teachers in high schools to meet the requirements of the new period is an urgent issue for the current teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.To this end,this article takes the “high-quality improvement—what to improve—how to improve” quality of ideological and political teachers in the new era as the main line.First,it studies the background of the improvement of the quality of ideological and political teachers in high schools and explains the “why” problem.Secondly,on the basis of analyzingthe background of the times,combining the characteristics of ideological and political courses in middle schools,combing the main content of ideological and political course teachers' quality in the new age,explaining the question of "what".Finally,aiming at the main content of the ideological and political class teachers 'qualities in the new era,based on the background of the times,explore the path of promoting the ideological and political teachers' quality of high school in the new era,and explain the "how to" problem,and then improve the teaching effect of the ideological and political classes Contribute.The full text is divided into three parts:The first part studies the background of promoting ideological and political teachers' quality of high school in the new era.This section analyzes the background of the promotion of the quality of the ideological and political teachers in the new age high school from the three perspectives of the new mission given by Xi Jinping's teacher view,new challenges in the information society and new requirements for educational development.Teachers have been given new missions to build people,cultivate souls,and keep up with innovations.They are facing new challenges to teachers' status,roles,and teaching abilities.They must adapt to the new requirements for improving innovation,cultivating qualities,and professional knowledge.The second part explains the main content of the ideological and political teachers' quality of high school in the new era.According to the three aspects of "political literacy","teacher ethics" and "business literacy",this chapter deeply understands the scientific connotation of "six essentials",and sorts out the main content of the ideological and political teachers' quality of high school in the new age.The main contents of ideological and political teachers' quality of high school in the new era should include six aspects: strong politics,deep feelings,new thinking,broad vision,positive personality and strict self-discipline.The third part proposes ways to improve the quality of ideological and political teachers in senior high schools.In the new times,to implement the fundamental task of fostering morality and cultivating people and build professional innovative teaching staffs with high qualities need us to improve teachers' quality of ideological and political courses in high school.In order to ensure that teachers' quality of ideological and political courses in high school can bear the "new mission",face "new challenges" and undertake "new requirements",this study aims at the main content of the teachers' quality of ideological and political courses of high school in the new era,and proposes that the state must create an external environment that promotes the improvement of ideological and political teachers in high schools,and schools must strengthen the training and training of teachers' quality of ideological and political courses in high schools,and ideological and political teachers of high school should enhance their motivation and ability to improve themselves.
