The core literacy is a hot issue in the current research.The development of students' core literacy is a hot topic in the educational reform.The research of core literacy based on theory can not meet the needs of education.How to implement the core literacy in chemistry classroom teaching is the key problem in the research of core literacy.The 18 th national Congress of the Communist party of China regards building up virtue and cultivating people as the fundamental purpose of education in our country,and aims at cultivating all-round development people.The development and implementation of students' core literacy is the focus of core literacy research.By analyzing the current situation of core literacy both at home and abroad,based on the established core literacy system of chemistry in China,this paper analyzes the curriculum standard and teaching material of element compound knowledge,puts forward the teaching strategy of cultivating core literacy of chemistry in combination with the teaching material,and designs,studies and practices the teaching cases of sodium and sulfur,using case teaching,situation teaching,The method of cooperative inquiry carries on the teaching,adopts the classroom observation method,the interview method,the classroom examination and the questionnaire survey method to carry on the analysis to the teaching practice result.The results show that the application of these strategies has achieved positive results,and it is helpful to cultivate students' chemical core literacy.
