Since the reform of the basic education curriculum in 2001,primary and secondary schools have paid more attention to cultivating people with all-round development and adapting to the needs of society,and take the cultivation of students' comprehensive qualities as the school's goal.Curriculum integration in primary schools helps to achieve this goal.Problems such as miscellaneous teaching subjects in primary schools,numerous teaching tasks for teachers,unrelenting learning burden for students,and the inability to guarantee the systematicness of the knowledge learned also require schools to explore an integrated curriculum to improve the effectiveness of school education and teaching.However,there is a certain gap between the actual operation and the ideal state.As the main venue for curriculum implementation,the complexity and variability of the school have restricted the development of curriculum integration to a certain extent,and teachers' awareness and ability to integrate and comprehensive literacy also affect integration activities development.Primary school thematic curriculum integration is a convenient operation for primary school curriculum integration,which can play an effective form of curriculum resource education.It is always student-centered and people-oriented.At the same time,primary school thematic curriculum integration integrates multiple different disciplines,which is conducive to training pupils' sound personality,digging out and sublimating the value of subject education,and helping them construct a knowledge system as a whole,cultivating pupils' ability to use subjectknowledge to solve practical life problems,and thinking from a global perspective,in this process also helps pupils develop autonomy the habit of learning motivates the inner learning motivation of primary school students and develops their creative thinking and cooperation consciousness.Therefore,based on the investigation and research on thematic curriculum integration activities in H primary schools,this paper tries to find a universal thematic curriculum integration model for primary schools.This study firstly sorts out and analyzes the relevant literature of curriculum integration and thematic curriculum integration in the meaning of this study to find the research space.This study selects the thematic curriculum integration activities of H primary school in Chongqing as the main object,and mainly adopts the research methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview survey and case analysis to explore and analyze the practice and exploration of thematic curriculum integration in H primary school.Then,the author defines the core concept curriculum integration and thematic curriculum integration of this research,selects the theoretical basis of the research,inclusive education theory,multiple intelligences theory and constructivism theory,and expounds the existing curriculum integration research.Secondly,the author combined the survey results and case analysis of H elementary school to sort out the problems in the exploration of thematic curriculum integration activities,and then based on the investigation results and case analysis to analyze the reasons for the problems,and finally,proposed to optimize the integration of primary school thematic curriculum recommendations and strategies.In general,this study is divided into five parts:The first part mainly includes the reasons for the topic selection,literature review,concept definition,theoretical basis of the research,and the purpose and significance of the research.In the second part,the research design mainly includes research ideas,research methods,selected research tools and analysis of the survey objects,combing analysis of the questionnaire survey results and interview results,and commenting on the selected thematic integration cases of H primary schools analysis.The third part,mainly combined with the analysis of the survey results,sorts out the problems existing in the thematic curriculum integration practice exploration activities of H primary school,and finds out the problems from the aspects of school evaluation mechanism,teaching schedule,teacher participation and students' subjective status in the integration activities.The fourth part,the main content is based on the analysis of the reasons for the problems existing in the integration process of H elementary school.The reasons for the problems arise from the aspects of class schedule,the influence of traditional evaluation,the enthusiasm of teachers' participation and the motivation of integration,as well as the integration ability of teachers themselves.The fifth part is mainly aimed at the problems existing in the integration process of H primary school,and combined with the cause analysis,put forward the optimization strategies: formulate an effective incentive and evaluation mechanism;coordinate the arrangement of integration time;enhance teachers' integration awareness and stimulate teachers' motivation;improve teachers' integration ability,pay attention to students' subjective status,and provide reference for further optimization of thematic curriculum integration activities.
