The purpose of this article is to explore the current application of class oral evaluation of primary school math teachers,and then analyze the reasons of the problems in class oral evaluation of primary school math teachers.On the basis of literature research,the author enters the Y Primary School in Changsha through the opportunity of educational practice,and uses a series of research methods,such as observation and interview,to conduct a series of studies on the class oral evaluation of a low-grade math teacher.The author uses the self-made "Primary Math Teachers Class Oral Evaluation Observation Sheet" to observe and record the situation of a primary school math teacher's oral evaluation in class,which includes four aspects: evaluation object,evaluation content,and evaluation type.After collating and analyzing the class oral evaluation of primary school math teacher,it was found that the following problems existed: The positive evaluation is inappropriate,such as the positive evaluation language is monotonous,lack of math discipline characteristic,and the evaluation was lack of scientificity and standardization.The second is that the negative evaluation is inappropriate,such as evaluating adulteration with mantra,evaluation focus on presuppositions leads to the evaluation was lack of flexibility.The third is that criticism is inappropriate.the fourth is that the timing of evaluation is imprecise.Based on further analysis of these existing problems,it is found that the main reasons for these problems are teacher's lack of correct education concept,teacher's lack of evaluation knowledge,teacher's insufficient to class oral evaluation,lack of teachers' evaluation abilities,etc.In order to improve the problems in class oral evaluation of primary school math teacher,the author puts forward some improvement strategies from four aspects based on the analysis of the reasons: strengthen the study of evaluation theory knowledge,attach importance to oral evaluation in the class,improve the evaluation abilities,and actively exercise in practice.In order to provide reference for frontline primary school math teachers to use the class oral evaluation.
