The junior high school Chinese textbooks(hereinafter referred to as the compilation textbooks)organized by the Ministry of Education have been used in various schools since September 2016.One of the major changes is the addition of an "Activity and Inquiry" unit.The Chinese language textbook has a "Activity and Inquiry" unit in the eighth and ninth grades,that is,the "news" unit in the eighth grade,the "speech" unit in the eighth grade,and the "poem" unit in the ninth grade.And the "drama" unit of the ninth grade.They organize units in the form of activity task lists and appear in Chinese textbooks with a new attitude,which brings new challenges to Chinese teachers.Based on the in-depth exploration of the newly-added "Activity and Inquiry" unit,this article investigates the current status of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit teaching in Xiangyi School of Changsha City,and attempts to analyze the teaching status of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit and propose corresponding measures.Strategies to promote the effectiveness of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit teaching.This article is mainly divided into five parts:The introduction and literature review are mainly to sort out the background of the topic,the importance of the topic,the domestic and foreign research situation,research methods and innovations.The first chapter mainly uses the literature research method toexplain the related concepts of effective teaching in the "Activity and Inquiry" unit,the theoretical basis of effective teaching in the "Activity and Inquiry" unit,and the significance of setting up the "Activity and Inquiry" unit.The "Activity and Inquiry" unit in this article refers to the four "Activity and Inquiry" units in the eighth and ninth volumes of the junior middle school language textbook.This chapter elaborates the theoretical foundations of pedagogy and psychology that teachers should follow when teaching "Activity and Inquiry" unit.Setting up an "Activity and Inquiry" unit is conducive to cultivating students' subjective consciousness,transforming their learning styles,and improving their core literacy.The second chapter mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method,taking the "Activity and Inquiry" unit in the junior middle school Chinese textbook as the research object,and the eighth and ninth grade students and junior middle school Chinese teachers in Xiangyi School of Changsha as the research object.The teaching status of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit was investigated.From the results of the survey,the teaching of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit is currently inefficient or even ineffective.By thinking about the current status of "Activity and Inquiry" unit teaching,the author believes that it can be summarized into four aspects: backwardness in teaching concepts,deviation in teaching goals,outdated teaching content,and inappropriate teaching evaluation.The third chapter is the core part of the thesis.It mainly adopts the literature research method,and proposes an effective teaching strategy for the "Activity and Inquiry" unit of junior middle school Chinese based on the surveyed teaching status.The effective teaching strategies for the compilation of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit of junior middle school Chinese are mainly based on the problems existing in teaching.That is to update the teaching concept and pay attention to the students' main body;clarify the teaching objectives and implement the teaching content;optimize teaching evaluation and formulate flexible standards.The fourth chapter mainly uses the case analysis method.Based on the effective teaching strategies of the "Activity and Inquiry" unit of the junior middle school language,the author uses the "speech" unit in the four "Activity and Inquiry" units as an example to evaluate the case.Provide some lessons for reference.
