The internationalization of education has increasingly become a hot topic of education reform and development.Nowadays,it is not possible to epursue development with our door closed or discuss education by ourselves."Cross-Cultural Symposium" is one of the 18 learning task groups designed in “The Chinese Curriculum Criteria for Senior High School(2017 Version)”.The setting of this learning task group is conducive to promoting "cultural heritage and understanding" and improving students' language Core literacy. This article designs and implements this learning task group in an attempt to transform cross-cultural education from the past "randomization" to scientific "curricularization".The first chapter is an overview of the learning task group of the "Cross-Cultural Symposium",focusing on the issue of "what is the Cross-Cultural Symposium".The first chapter defines the core concepts, emphasizes the purpose and meaning of the learning task group setting, and introduces the theoretical rationale for teaching this learning task group. The second chapter is designed for the "cross-cultural seminar" learning task group, focusing on the "what" of the learning task group,is the key chapter of this article. This chapter first interprets the curriculum standards and elaborates the status of this learning task group and its relationship with other learning task groups.Secondly, based on an in-depth interpretation of the curriculum standards, four courses were designed, including "Paper Short Love: Discussing the Differences between Chinese and Western Love Poems","Struggling and Singing: Examining Individual Progress in Chinese and Western Literature","Why a Teacher: A comparison of the image of a "good teacher" in Chinese and Western films."The Beauty of Cross-border: Studying Cultural Exchanges in the Information Age." The first two topics are mainly cultural explorations, and the latter two topics are practical explorations, totaling 36 class hours. The third chapter discusses the teaching strategy of the "cross-cultural seminar" learning task group, and elaborates the question of "how to teach" the learning task group.According to the logic and time sequence of teaching based on a learning task group, teaching strategies have successively covered teaching content development strategies, organizational teaching activities strategies, and teaching evaluation strategies. The fourth chapter is the practical part of the learning task group of "Cross-cultural Symposium".One part is a teaching example.Typical course examples are selected for demonstration, which verifies the effectiveness of the teaching strategy in this article. The other part is the author's teaching reflection, which reviews the defects and flaws presented in the real classroom,so as to provide a reference for future learning task group teaching. The beautiful initiative of the community of human destiny promotes people's cross-regional and cultural exchanges.Contemporary Chinese education should cultivate students to explore a broader cognitive boundary. For cross-cultural communication, understanding is only the first step, and achieving understanding is a step that both teachers and students should cross. This article is based on the design and implementation of Chinese teaching in senior high schools. It is hoped that the teaching of the "cross-cultural seminar" learning task group will give students a new perspective to enhance international understanding and form national identity.
