The physics curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 Edition)have stated that the core competencies of physics discipline mainly includes four aspects,namely “physical concept”,“scientific thinking”,“scientific inquiry” as well as“scientific attitude and responsibility”.The basic relationship between these four aspects is that the physical concept is the essence,the scientific thinking is the core,the scientific inquiry is the key,the scientific attitude and responsibility are the end-result.Among them,the scientific thinking runs through every link of physics learning and application,and is in a dominant position.Whether it is observation,experiment,scientific inquiry,problem solving or scientific innovation,it can't be separated from the participation of scientific thinking.Therefore,teachers should update the educational concept,and change the teaching methods in physics teaching.They should not only take the cultivation of scientific thinking as the main line,and integrate it into the whole teaching process to realize the cultivation and improvement of students' scientific thinking ability,and finally to develope students' core competencies of physics discipline,but also take improving students' scientific thinking ability as the fundamental starting point and foothold,and carefully design teaching activities to enable students to master scientific thinking methods.Based on current research about the cultivation of scientific thinking at home and abroad,a more in-depth discussion about physics teaching strategies of cultivating senior high school students' scientific thinking ability was carried out in this paper on the basis of the combination of relevant theoretical research and specific teaching practice.The whole thesis is composed of six chapters,among which the first part that is the introduction discusses the research background of its subject,the research progress of thinking,scientific thinking and its cultivation theory at home and abroad,as well as thepurpose,the significance,the content and the method of the study.In the second chapter,the basic concepts and related theories involved in the cultivation of students' scientific thinking ability in physics teaching are firstly combed and discussed systematically,which include the essential connotation,main characteristics and basic types of scientific thinking.And the general macro-process of physical cognition is constructed.Furthermore,the basic theories on general learning are summarized in this part,including Constructivism Learning Theory and Information Processing Learning Theory.Based on our basic knowledge of scientific thinking in the second chapter,the third chapter of this paper puts forward the general strategy of cultivating students' scientific thinking ability in physics teaching.And on this basis,we construct a basic teaching framework which takes students' scientific thinking activities as the main line,and which is under the interaction between teachers and students.In the fourth chapter,the author independently designs and compiles a test paper for measuring physics thinking ability of senior high school students based on Professor Xu Peijun's basic theory on the measurement of thinking ability in physics.Taking the third grade of Yan'an Middle School as an example,the author conducts a quantitative study on the current development of senior high school students' thinking ability in physics in Yan'an city,and the measurement data is evaluated by analyzed statistically.The results show that the development level of senior high school students' thinking ability in physics in Yan'an city is generally low.And the average development level of male students' thinking ability in physics is higher than that of female students,and the measures of dispersion of male individuals is also greater.In the fifth chapter,two teaching cases designed and evaluated are carried out on physics concept and law according to the objectives of physics teaching in senior high school from the perspective of the cultivation of students' core competencies and the basic characteristics of senior high school students' cognitive development,which arebased on the basic strategies and framework proposed in the paper for the cultivation of students' scientific thinking ability.Finally,the main conclusions and deficiencies of this paper are presented.And the outlook for the study is discussed.
