Primary school mathematics is a course that allows students to master the necessary basic knowledge and basic skills,cultivate students' abstract thinking,reasoning skills,creative consciousness and practical ability,promote students' development of emotions,attitudes and values.Both the new curriculum reform and the new curriculum standards emphasize the emphasis on students 'subjective status,cultivate students' cooperation and communication skills.The new curriculum reform encourages students to take the initiative to participate,be willing to explore,and be diligent in practice,cultivate students' ability to collect and process information,acquire new knowledge,analyze and solve problems,communicate and cooperate.The new curriculum standards clearly put forward to pay attention to students' dominant status in learning,students must learn to cooperate with others in problem solving and experience the diversity of problem solving methods.In terms of emotional attitudes and values,students should develop study habits such as serious diligence,independent thinking,cooperation and communication,,reflection and questioning.Discussion teaching method is a teaching method that students learn by themselves and talk by themselves under the guidance of teachers and focus on discussion,it is favored by teachers because it can highlight students' main part dominant status in teaching.The introduction of discussion teaching method in the primary school mathematics classroom is a useful attempt to adapt to the new curriculum reform and practice the new curriculum standards.The use of discussion teaching method in the classroom can improve students' enthusiasm for learning,expand their thinking,cultivate their ability,and promote their all-round development.However,there are still problems in the implementation of the discussion teaching method,such as the unreasonable choice of discussion questions,the absence of teachers in the discussion process,the low enthusiasm of students to participate in the discussion,and the formality of discussion.For this reason,the author studies the problems existing in thediscussion teaching method of mathematics in the primary school,and proposes effective countermeasures to optimize the application of the discussion teaching method.This thesis consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly introduces the background of the topic selection,the significance of the research,the current research status of the discussion teaching method at home and abroad,and provides the theoretical basis for the author's subsequent research,as well as the research methods used in this research.The second part is an overview of the theory.It mainly defines the terms "discussion teaching method","primary school mathematics teaching" and "high-grade in primary school".It briefly introduces the current organizational form of the discussion method of primary school mathematics classroom.This part summarizes the value of discussion teaching method in primary school mathematics teaching,as well as the four characteristics of the discussion teaching method: targeted,autonomous,interactive and inclusive.The third part is the analysis of application status.Through the methods of questionnaire survey,interview survey and case analysis,the current status of the implementation of the discussion teaching method is analyzed from three perspectives of teachers,students and classroom teaching.The fourth part is the analysis of problems and causes.By analyzing the implementation of discussion teaching method,it summarizes the problems in the application of discussion teaching method and analyzes the causes of these problems.The fifth part is the optimization strategies.Based on the analysis of the problems and reasons in the implementation of discussion teaching method,this paper discusses the strategies to solve the problem of the discussion teaching method.This part is the key part of the article.The optimization strategies of the discussion teaching method are mainly proposed from three aspects: before discussion,during discussion and after discussion.
