Research On Entrepreneurship Education In Entrepreneurial Universities

Entrepreneurship education is one of the important contents of higher education.Entrepreneurial universities are committed to academic entrepreneurship,training innovative and entrepreneurial talents,actively promoting the transfer of science and technology,setting up hightech companies,and creating more jobs.Therefore,entrepreneurial education carried out by entrepreneurial universities is a driving force to promote the development of higher education,a strong force to stimulate regional economic and social development,and has great significance for strengthening national competitiveness.As an entrepreneurial university,California Institute of technology,a famous private institution of higher learning in the United States,has become a model of entrepreneurship education in the world.Through in-depth analysis of its advantages and characteristics,this paper can provide theoretical support and practical reference for the reform of entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities in China.Through literature research and case study,this paper combs the development background of entrepreneurship education in Caltech,analyzes its implementation status and guarantee system,and reveals the characteristics of entrepreneurship education in Caltech: strong atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship and strong scientific research strength;comprehensive course content and strict curriculum requirements;flexible teaching method and combination of theory and practice;rich and challenging entrepreneurship opportunities.By learning from the advantages and characteristics of entrepreneurship education of Caltech,this paper summarizes some inspirations for the development of entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities in China: attaching importance to the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship,creating an entrepreneurial culture atmosphere;improving the curriculum system of entrepreneurship education,effectively carrying out entrepreneurial activities;building a team of high-quality entrepreneurial teachers,transforming into entrepreneurial universities;attracting entrepreneurial forces outside the university,helping implement entrepreneurship education.
