According to the current studies on autistic children's deceptive behavior, more attentions has been paid to the characteristics of deceptive behavior and the impact factors while autistic children's deceptive behavior was rarely considered through interpersonal relationship. The interpersonal relationship might be able to more comprehensively explore the deceptive behavior of children with autism spectrum disorders. Thus, based on the interpersonal relationship ecology of autistic children,it was necessary to use self-relevance to systematically investigate the characteristics of deceptive behaviors of children with autism spectrum disorders. Moreover, the present study pursued the relationship of deception and theory of mind, executive function.Three experiments are adopted in investigating the impact of self-relevance on deceptive behaviors of autistic children. With hidden and seek and reverse lipstick as experimental paradigms, the present study explored the underlying correlation of deceptive behaviors and the theory of mind and executive function under different self-relevance.Experiment 1 showed that children with autism had the lowest self-interested deception score with highly self-relevance persons(parents)and no significant differences between moderately self-relevance persons(peers)and lowly self-relevance persons(strangers).Experiment 2 showed that children with autism had the highest altruistic deception score to moderately self-relevance persons(peers,a nd there was no significant difference between highly self-relevance persons(parents)and lowly self-relevance persons(strangers).Experiment 3 showed that Deceptive behaviors of autistic children had different cognitive correlations with theory of mind and executive function under different self-relevance.In self-interest deception, there was a significant positive correlation between highly self-relevance persons, lowly self-relevance persons and executive function;in altruistic deception, there was no significant correlation between deception and executivefunction;nonverbal Intelligence, theory of mind is no significantly correlative with the deceptive behavior of children with autism spectrum disorders. Those results indicated that self-relevance has different effects on Different deceptive behaviors of children with autism spectrum disorders. In terms of self-interested deception, children with autism were less likely to deceive people with highly self-relevance.In the terms of altruistic deception, autistic children were likely to deceive moderately self-relevance persons. The deceptive behavior of children with autism was more likely to be related to executive function under different self-relevance.
