Chinese core literacy is a comprehensive requirement for students in four aspects: language,thinking,aesthetics and culture.As one of the quintessence of traditional culture,calligraphy is of great help to students‘ ability of writing,aesthetic appreciation,cultural understanding and thinking,it naturally matches with the quintessence of Chinese core literacy.Chinese subject is based on the cultivation of students' ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing,it integrates the multi-cultural knowledge,which plays a great role in promoting calligraphy education.There are some problems in junior middle school calligraphy education,such as the unclear orientation of calligraphy discipline,the unclear standard of calligraphy curriculum,the lack of students' interest in calligraphy learning,the weak quality of Chinese teachers' calligraphy,and the unscientific evaluation of calligraphy teaching,which lead to the calligraphy teaching and learning process being formalized and ineffective.From the perspective of Chinese core literacy,this paper tries to analyze the current situation and existing problems of calligraphy education in junior middle school,and explores the causes of problems,striving to put forward effective teaching strategies.It aims to change the current situation of Chinese Calligraphy Education in junior high school,at the same time,to cultivate students' Chinese core literacy.In addition,based on the reflection on the current situation of calligraphy education in junior high school,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the future professionalization of calligraphy education.This paper is made up of five parts:The first part introduces the reason and background of this paper,describes the research situation of Chinese core accomplishment and Calligraphy Education at home and abroad,determines the corresponding research methods and the purpose and significance of the research.The second part mainly expounds the core concept and connotation of calligraphy education and its position in the education of mother tongue in the past dynasties,and determines the goal of junior middle school calligraphy education based on Chinese core literacy.It also discusses that calligraphy literacy is closely related to Chinese core literacy in four aspects: Constructing language,developing thinking,cultivating aesthetic appreciation and inheriting culture,as well as analyses the feasibility of implementing calligraphy education in Junior Chinese teaching.The third part is to investigate and interview the Chinese teachers of some middle schools in Yuelu District of Changsha City,in order to understand the implementation of Chinese Calligraphy Education in junior middle schools,and analyze the data according to the investigation and interview,find the reasons behind these problems,and provide the factual basis for the specific teaching and learning strategies.The fourth part is the central part of this paper,combining with the core literacy of Chinese,this chapter mainly aims at the existing problems in the investigation and puts forward on corresponding teaching strategies from three aspects: optimizing the teaching content of calligraphy,clarifying the teaching methods of calligraphy,and improving the evaluation mechanism of calligraphy,so as to put forward some feasiblemeasures for improving the current situation of calligraphy teaching in junior middle school.The fifth part will reflect on the current situation of calligraphy teaching in junior high school,and put forward some suggestions for improvement on the way of professionalization of calligraphy education.The author mainly expounds from two aspects: strengthening the cultivation of calligraphy teachers and the systematization of calligraphy teaching materials.
