Art appreciation teaching in junior high school is the main research object of this paper.According to the survey and regular teaching,the main problem is that the teaching of art appreciation in junior high school has not received enough attention.The reason for this problem is that teachers seldom arrange art appreciation teaching.In the process of art appreciation teaching,they focus on the historical background of the content and the painter's personal background,and often ignore the picture content,so that students' visual perception of art appreciation ability is weak.One of the reasons for the neglect is that the teachers themselves think the picture analysis is not easy to explain.In order to solve this problem,this paper makes an in-depth study and creatively combines Arnheim's method of visual perception analysis based on gestalt psychology with Panofsky's theory of graphics and art teaching practice.The reasons for choosing these two theoretical methods are as follows: on the one hand,Arnheim's analysis method based on gestalt psychology focuses on the research of human visual perception,which can be used to analyze and appreciate non-thematic artistic works;On the other hand,Panofsky's three levels of image theory focuses on the analysis of the connotation of the picture,so the author selects the thematic art works in the history of art for the teaching research of art appreciation.Two evaluation methods are compared and analyzed.This paper adopts the methods of investigation and interview,literature research,case study and network data collection to find a more reasonable teaching path of art appreciation,which provides reference for art appreciation teaching in junior high school.The investigation shows that students generally have the problem of weak visual perception.This paper focuses on the analysis of visual perception based on gestalt psychology.The author made an investigation and analysis on the status of art routine teaching in junior high school and read a lot of materials.On this basis,Arnheim analysis method is applied to practical teaching cases to try to find out the feasibility of visual perception analysis method in the teaching of art appreciation in junior high school.Through the implementation of teaching,students can learn to mobilize visual perception feeling,to understand how aesthetic? Why did the painter use this form of painting? I think this is the focus of art education.Secondly,Panofsky's iconology is a relatively comprehensive iconology analysis method,but it still focuses on content analysis and focuses on the analysis of the knowledge background of art works,which requires a large amount of literary and historical data as the basis.Therefore,in the author's appreciation teaching,it is used as an auxiliary means to improve the understanding and analysis of art works,go deep into the works,and explore the symbolic meaning of the works as well as the political,economic,philosophical,sociological and other cultural phenomena contained in the works.Iconology enables students to fully understand the artist's creative motivation,aesthetic concept and personal feelings.The author hopes that this research can solve the problem of art appreciation teaching in junior high school by combining theory with practice.
