Research On The Cultivation Of College Students' Ideal Personality In New Era

Ideal personality is in line with the requirements of the development of the times,recognized and respected by the society.It contains the unity of knowledge,wisdom,emotion,morality and aesthetics.At the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it was proposed that China should cultivate “New human of times” who are responsible for the great task of national rejuvenation.At the 2018 China National Education Conference,general secretary Xi Jinping proposed that Chinese youth should work hard in strengthening their ideals and beliefs,fostering patriotic feelings,strengthening moral character,increasing knowledge and experience,cultivating their spirit of struggle and enhancing their comprehensive quality,thus forming the main content of the ideal personality of college students in the new era.Compared with the ideal personality in the past historical period,the ideal personality of college students in the new era has the characteristics of transcendence,loftiness,scientificity,inheritance,innovation and practicality.Cultivating the ideal personality of college students in the new era is the need of the development of college students' personality,the important part of the goal of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and also the need of social development.At the same time,attaching importance to and strengthening the cultivation of college students' ideal personality is of great significance to the realization of the “Chinese dream” of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,the realization of the goal of “Building morality and cultivating people” in colleges and universities,and the promotion of the overall development of college students.Facing the new era and new requirements,colleges and universities have carried out fruitful work and make great achievements in the cultivation of college students' ideal personality.However,there are still some problems in the process of cultivation,such as the deviation of cultivation concept,the single cultivation method,the one-sidedcultivation goal,the lack of pertinence of cultivation work,the lack of family education and self-education of ideal personality of college students.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems in the cultivation of college students' ideal personality in the new era,which are mainly reflected in three aspects: the lack of attention to the cultivation of college students' ideal personality,the complex and changeable educational environment of society and family,and the low consciousness of college students to improve their own personality.According to the problems and reasons in the process of cultivating the ideal personality of college students,this paper explores the effective ways of cultivating the ideal personality of college students in the new era: first,colleges and universities should put the cultivation of the ideal personality of college students in the first place;second,carry out the beneficial practice of cultivating the ideal personality of college students;third,improve the personality quality of educators;fourth,optimize the cultivation of the ideal personality of college students in the new era.And the fifth is to cultivate college students' consciousness of shaping their ideal personality in the new era.
