Family Change In The Context Of Rural-City Flow

In this paper,a case study of rural-urban migration in the context of family changes.In previous studies,most of them only focus on the results of family mobility,but ignore the process;pay attention to structural principles,ignore action and emotion,which leads to the study of family change,do not see the specific impact of mobility on the interaction and consultation process of family members,ignore the individual's initiative in the process of family change.Therefore,this paper makes comprehensive use of family change theory and life course theory,combined with individual work history and family structure change,finds the combination point of family and individual under social macro-policy change,clearly shows the action of individual and family under social change,adapts to the change of family structure and family function through the adaptive adjustment of family relationship,and finally maintains harmonious family relationship under the background of mobility.The study found that,first,in the 1990s,the formation of family member mobility decision-making was the result of a comprehensive consideration of the macro-population mobility policy by mobile couples and the economic development situation within the family.Therefore,family members,through the consultation process within the family,changed the single-person mobility to the double mobility,and formed the form of left-behind family,inter-generation family,family reunion in different places in the family structure.Second,discretization is the most prominent feature of rural family population mobility.The separation of space causes the lack of daily care for the left-behind elderly in intergenerational support,which affects the parent-child relationship between parents and left-behind children,and adversely affects the intimate relationship between husband and wife in a certain period of time.However,mobile couples achieve the care of left-behind parents in alternate families by maintaining good relations with families such as brothers and sisters.At the same time,the left-behind elderly in the next generation family consciously strengthen the friendly contact with the relatives and friends around,so as to obtain emergency support and maintain the function of the family.Secondly,the husband in the city single mobile period,rooted in the city to learn technology,not only for the couple city reunion,increase emotional interaction,but also to obtain husband and wife double work income,improve the family economy.Third,the family relationship under the background of mobility,through the adjustment of the relationship between family members,responds to the change of family structure and function.The main purpose of the adjustment of family relationship is to realize the interests of the whole family and complete the function of the family.This is mainly manifested in the relationship between mobile couples and left-behind parents by confirming the overall interests of the family,and the traditional filial piety culture is conducive to promoting harmonious family relations.Secondly,the basis of harmonious and equal relationship between husband and wife mainly through the confirmation of the purpose of mobility,that is,to go out to work for children's education,to achieve family food and clothing.In addition,the husband and wife in the actual coexistence,pay attention to the husband and wife to the family house reasonable distribution,according to the principle of time convenience and so on,contributed to the harmonious relationship between husband and wife.Finally,the adjustment of parent-child relationship develops to the overall harmonious direction in the fluctuation,and the parent-child relationship improves mutual understanding through various means of communication,adjusting the goal of parent-child relationship,and finally makes the parent-child relationship through the crisis,and lays the foundation for the later stage to form a harmonious parent-child relationship.
