Since the Chinese textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education was publicated,concerns of using the new textbook have received more and more attention.As an essential part of the textbook system,teaching books are playing an important role in Chinese teachers' teaching practice.At present,there is lack of research on the Chinese textbook edited by the Ministry of Education,in particular,there is less empirical research on the use of teaching books.The research object of this article is the usage of teaching book compiled by the Ministry of Education,combining questionnaires and interviews,it has shown the usage of teachers' teaching books,analyzed the causes,and proposed strategies for teachers and suggestions for teaching textbooks compilation.The reminder of this article is as the following:The first part is to summarize the previous studies;to clarify the development,content compilation,application and function of Chinese teaching books;and to explore the purpose and significance of this dissertation.Based on relevant theories,I designed a questionnaire on the usage of teaching books,in which the junior high school teachers are the subjects,and analyzed the data.In the second part,it investigates the usage of junior high school teachers' teaching books compiled by the Ministry of Education,which is analyzed from four aspects:basic usage conditions such as usage frequency and methods;usage of specific sections;the factors that have an effect on usage;and suggestions for improvement.The results of the survey show that Chinese teachers' teaching books are generally used frequently and diversified according to different contexts and purposes;though it is distinguished among each section,the teaching suggestions have received the most attention;while the overall satisfaction is high,it still needs to be improved in styles,contents,and teaching operability;the factors that may have an impact on the usage of teaching books are years of teaching,geographical area,professional title,and academic qualifications.The third part,according to the results of the interview,which is about the current application situation of teaching books,I analyze the reasons,which may lead to the current situation,from three aspects:teaching books,teachers per se and external conditions.As for the Chinese teachers' teaching books,the main reasons are that first,the teachers still need time and effort to accept the innovative concepts of teaching books;second,the content is not rigorous enough;third,the teaching guidance is not sufficient.From the perspective of teachers,how the teachers using the teaching books depends on the difference of teaching philosophy and the stages of professional development.The external conditions mainly include the pressure from senior high school entrance examination,teaching management,informational education and diverse teaching supplementary materials.The fourth part,proposes the improvement suggestions for further application and compilation according to the existing problems of junior high school Chinese teachers'teaching books.Teachers should exactly understand the value of the Chinese teacher's teaching books and have positive attitude towards the usage of the teaching books;fully comprehend the editors' intents and use each section reasonably;enhance the professional level of teaching and the ability of using the teaching books;employ digital methods expand teaching resources.In addition,suggestions for improving the teaching books compilation are,for example,Strengthening comparison with Chinese curriculum standards,making it more scientific and more rigorous;improving the practicality of teaching,and the guidance of teaching methods and learning methods;refining the teaching evaluation system and promoting reflection of teaching practice.
