With the implementation of the new curriculum standards,high school history textbooks have also ushered in a new round of reforms.The unified version of the high school history textbooks is compiled and reviewed by the country in accordance with the national regulations and in accordance with the “General High School History Curriculum Standards(2017 Version)”,Unified use of teaching materials.In addition to the text of the textbook,the edited version of the high school history textbook has a large proportion of extensive knowledge.These extensive knowledge are mainly distributed in the four columns of the window of learning,historical aspect,historical material reading,and question exploration,each of which is it has its distinctive characteristics,and its frequency and role in the teaching materials are different.Since the compiled textbooks have just been tried,teachers and students are still not very suitable in actual teaching,and the application of expandable knowledge is not satisfactory,so it is worth further research.This article takes “Chinese and Foreign History Outline(Part 1)”as an example to discuss the connotation and application of the expanded knowledge in the new textbooks,in order to provide some inspiration for the practical teaching of history teachers.The article firstly explains the connotation of expandable knowledge,uses the literature research method to define the concept of expandable knowledge,and on the basis of careful study of the textbook,expands the knowledge in the textbook into two types: text interpretation and knowledge detection,and summarizes It shows the characteristics of exploratory knowledge,diversity,and interest.Secondly,it analyzes the presentation of the expanded knowledge in the edited version of the high school history textbook,and brieflycompares it with the expanded knowledge in the four versions of the textbook under the 2003 curriculum standards.Thirdly,summarize the four functions of supplementary historical knowledge supplement,knowledge expansion,text interpretation and inspection learning in the compiled edition,and discuss the importance of expanding knowledge for teachers' teaching and students' learning and the cultivation of core qualities of history.Finally,it summarizes the teaching application of expanding knowledge in the introduction,teaching and consolidation,and puts forward three suggestions for teachers to pay attention to the application of expanding knowledge,enhance the ability to use expanding knowledge,and strengthen guiding students to learn expanding knowledge.
