A new reform of college entrance examination has been brought in China.The reasonability of personnel selection depends on exam pattern and quality of test questions.There are other hills where stones are good for working jade,more than 9000 schools in over 160 countries are part of Cambridge learning community.There must be some experience that we can learn from Cambridge International AS and A Level exam.Based on the research of the CIE A-Level physics syllabus and questions,a comprehensive study of the examination was conducted by using the research method of Literature research,comparative study,statistical analysis,etc.Apart from Physical experiment examination,the distribution of knowledge and question types are studied firstly.conclusions are as follows.Mechanics and electromagnetism are the main types of knowledge examined.Papers are mainly composed of calculation questions,multiple choice questions and short answer questions.After that,it is a special study on the structural questions of mechanics and electromagnetism.Firstly,the difficulty model of physics is built based on the comprehensive difficulty model.Then the model is used to analyze the difficulty of mechanics and electromagnetism questions in recent three years.The conclusion is that the difficulty of the English test is generally not high.Compared with Jiangsu college entrance examination,the characteristics of English test questions in the way of ability examination,the use of mathematical tools,and the setting of questions are found finally.The next step is to study the independent experimental exam.Find out the categories of competence and knowledge that the students will be mainly examined,according to the experimental questions of recent three years.Ability to collect and present experimental data and design experimental research are the most impotent abilities that students need to nurture.The knowledge structure is mainly composed of procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge.Through the analysis of typical test questions,the characteristics of the knowledge ability of English experiment questions are obtained.Finally,according to the conclusion of the study,the author puts forward some suggestions,such as adding the experimental operation test,strengthening the relevance between the test questions and the production and life,and making the test questions more diversified.
