| Due to the different understanding of the goals and concepts of history education between China and the United States,there are also great differences in the compilation of auxiliary text system in the middle school history textbooks of the two countries:the United States textbook pays more attention to diversified content compilation and column design,and guides students to enter the learning preparation state through descriptive and interactive language;the Chinese textbook emphasizes more concise language expression and refining degree,in order to improve students' learning efficiency for related content.In response to the requirements of the new curriculum reform for the transformation of textbooks from "teaching based" to "learning based",this paper intends to make a comparative study of the "Introduction" related content of middle school history textbooks in China and the United States,and explain the role of "Introduction" in promoting the construction of textbooks.The Chinese middle school history textbook used in this study is The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History compiled by the Ministry of education.American middle school history textbook is World History:Patterns of Interaction,which is developed and published by McDougall little.This paper adopts the method of comparative study,through analyzing the function of"Introduction",comparing the differences between Chinese and American textbooks in the content of "Introduction",reflecting on the deficiencies in the compilation and design of "Introduction" in China's current textbooks,and trying to provide suggestions for the future improvement of relevant content in China.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,text and references.And the text is divided into five parts.The first,second,third part is the focus of this article.Among these parts,the specific functions and characteristics of each module of the introduction,the compilation and writing characteristics of the modules in the two countries are analyzed respectively,and the characteristics of the compilation of the related contents,column design and text expression are illustrated in detail through examples.The fourth part is to analyze the differences and causes of the differences in the compilation and design of the "Introduction" of textbooks between China and the United States,including"textbook management","textbook compilation" and "other factors".The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the relevant contents that can be used for reference in the compilation and design of "Introduction" in American textbooks. |
