| Currently in China,history teachers in junior middle schools have basic competence in using PowerPoint to make history courseware,but many of them can only complete the simplest operations such as inputting text and inserting pictures.They don't really know how to process elements,design interfaces and create content in the PowerPoint software,which degrades the quality of the courseware and thus undermines the teaching results.Based on this,I have done related research on the design and making of PowerPoint courseware for history teaching in junior middle school,in the hope to provide effective help for history teachers in junior high schools.The paper consists of four parts.The first part simply introduces the PowerPoint courseware for history teaching in junior high schools,including the introduction of its concept,the analysis of its advantages and related theories.The second part summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the PowerPoint courseware made by front-line teachers in junior high schools.By analyzing 55 collected cases teaching the lesson of the Sino-Japan War in 1894 and the Wave of Imperialist Powers Dividing China,I summarize common advantages and problems requiring attention in the design and making of PowerPoint courseware.The third part is the suggestions on how to improve the quality of PowerPoint courseware.Based on the problems as mentioned above in the design and making of PowerPoint courseware,I offer my suggestions from three aspects:the design and making of the interface,the design and making of the content,and the understanding and use of basic techniques.The fourth part explains the basic process of the design and making of PowerPoint courseware for history teaching in junior high schools.The process will be divided into three stages:preparation,making and review.And it will be specified by taking the PowerPoint courseware for the lesson of the Sino-Japan War in 1894 and the Wave of Imperialist Powers Dividing China for example. |
